These actually taste like real licorice candy Usually sugar free licorice candy has a really strange after taste. These do not. They also do not not taste like the sugar free licorice drops for throat health with are medicinal and taste like it. They also don't appear to cause the usual "Soft sugar free candy gastrointestinal" issues. These are also really expensive with a small box with small pieces, but worth it if you love licorice candy and need sugar free.

Has a great black licorice flavor for a sugar free product and doesn't seem to leave a bad after-taste like some sugar free products do, possibly due to what type of artificial sweetener they use.I usually just suck on them but i'm sure some people will chew them but as expected it would stick to your teeth. I suck on one or two at a time to make them last but this is all in your personal preference.I'd highly recommend these Licorette's to anyone who loves black licorice but wants to avoid the sugar!

When my old favorite black licorice candy was discontinued, I searched and searched until I found Licorette. I love the strong anise flavor, and it happens to be sugar free. I am so happy I found this product... My NEW favorite black licorice candy. Thank you for the fast service and terrific product.

Have a good strong flavor that will fix a licorice craving without the sugar. It seems a little pricey, but assuming that you only eat one or two a box will last a while.

I used to buy these in local health food store until they were out of stock for 3 weeks. They were recommended to me for cough suppressant qualities that lessened the effects of bronchitis. I have been using for years to dissolve in my mouth when going to sleep so as not to cough as much. I do wish they came in a 5 pack instead as this will last me a very long time. Great taste, not overbearing. I'm not even a licorice lover.

I have been ordering Licorettes for years despite their being $$$$ because they're low cal, usually taste great, and keep me from reaching for more sugary sweets. This latest batch, however, was absolutely horrible. The content of each box smelled like chemical waste and tasted even worse (yup, I tried them despite the smell - I mean, $23.44!). Ironically, this was the second time this happened in a week, having received a similar putrid batch from a DIFFERENT retailer. Clearly, this is a manufacturing issue and I won't be ordering them again. Thankfully, Amazon refunded both purchases since neither seller honors returns of defective products.

I love black licorice and these are scrumptious. Sugar free so I don't feel too guilty about chewing on them at night while watching TV. They are nice and chewy with a great flavor. I'll be reordering!
