Guest 2720A ChargePro On-Board Battery Charger 20A / 12V, 2 Bank, 120V Input

I guess I will give this product 5 stars. I purchased it for my now ex husband and he seemed to enjoy it to charge his boat batteries to get away from his family, life and responsibilities.

This looks like the perfect charging unit for my marine batteries. No further need of battery tenders. This charger does it all. If there is a negative to the unit is the heat. If your batteries are low this unit will get pretty warm. Do not put it against carpet or any hard composite materials and leave plenty of air to help from getting too warm. I would have loved to see this unit come with some stand offs to keep it off of the carpet lining of the battery compartment. I ended up stacking 1/4 nuts (three on top of each other) to make stand offs to mount on the side of the battery compartment. The pulse condition phase of the charging is great. That helps clean off any sulfation to keep the battery at peak performance.

I've had multiple boats over the years with multiple chargers . This is the third guest charger I have bought . Absolutely trust these to do their job .

Keeping boat batteries healthy is a real pain. Replacing them is very expensive, especially since you have to do both whenever one goes bad. This battery tender keeps my batteries topped off and ever ready. I also purchased the plug adapter so that I can just plug it in without having to open the battery compartment. The installation is really very simple and requires no special skill. If you have a boat, this is essential equipment!

This unit is NOT a close replacement for older Guest units. It is about a third bigger and much heavier. An issue when used in Marine service and the old unit was "nestled" in the wall of a console and new holes will be visible along with the old.Did not install the unit, returned it and bought a NOCO GenMini which is about the same size as the old Guest.

Guest chargerpro 3 bank easy to install comes with plug end. My boat has a port to wire it to for easy access to plug in the extension cord. I'll wait to cut to plug to wire it in, till I'm satisfied that it will keep working. My last charger the pro mariner procharger didn't last very long 2 years and it just gave up, but I will say first off this charger is much faster at recognizing the batteries and starting the charge process the other was slow as Christmas drove me crazy waiting to make sure it was all good to let charge for the next morning of fishing. I tried to post pictures as well but for some reason it wouldn't let me. it comes with a template and mounting screws as well. I'll update again at a later date.

Completely satisfied. I like the feature that this two bank charger has seperate details for each bank. Good charger. Highly recommend.

I love the My new 3 battery charger. The length of all cords 3 for battery and 1 for a/c power cord we’re perfect . I read reviews from others to help me decide where to mount below deck inside one of large hatches. Spaced off bulkhead with 1” pieces of CPVC & used 2” SS screws to allow for air flow. Reviews said unit got very warm as did instructional materials. With this my unit doesn’t even get warm to touch, since in space I need to get equipment from. Only thing didn’t like were screw heads were too soft and stripped easily. This was a great price. Arrived in 2 days. Would buy again.
