I had my previous dash cam hardwired into my car ,and when it stopped working ,I wanted a dash cam that would fit into that wiring. I didn’t want the electric leads hanging down everywhere. The same camera that I previously had was over £90 to buy and this camera was less than £30. To be honest I wasn’t sure if you’d be any good ,but I thought for the price I will give it a go ,and if it isn’t any good ,I will buy a better camera and have that one at the front of my car and this one at the back. How wrong was I !!! It’s better than my previous dash cam ,has a lot more functions on it and it’s so easy to use it’s unbelievable. But the only problem I had was getting the Sim card to match with the camera. The picture quality is so clear .I like the fact it’s got a parking mode function ,so even if the camera is off and someone hit your car it automatically starts to record .I also like the fact he’s got a function where the screen turns off while driving but it’s still records so it doesn’t distract you and saves energy . if you do have an accident you can take it off the fitting bracket and use it as an actual camera and take photos with it as well In fact it’s so good I have just brought another one for the back of my car.I really recommend this camera!!!!

Setting up the Dash Cam, initially, is a bit confusing in as much as finding the right mode for various functions, but once it's done you can just plug it in and forget about it. It goes to recording mode automatically as soon as you start the car and records in a loop the length of which you can set between 3 minutes and 5 minutes (if I remember correctly), and if you do have a incident that you wish to save you can press the lock button and it retains that particular recorded moment so that it doesn't record over it. I haven't had it long and haven't yet had time to review the recording, and I hope I never really need to, but I'm sure it's working fine, and it gives you peace of mind, plus, it might reduce the cost of your car insurance. Definitely worth having.

Overall happy with this dash cam as it was much needed cause seems these days drivers are getting worse not better.Super easy to install done so without any issues does immediately power on when car starts and we’ll as much as picture/video quality could be better it does the job and information such as license plates can easily be read maybe not on the small screen but when you view on computers it’s there for use.Night time footage recording this is where it could be a lot better hence the removal of one star now this is solely because if something happened depending on lighting in the surrounding area information may not be clearly recorded but the footage alone would be a help still regardless.All in all for the price point this is a solid little camera and does provide that extra bit insurance when out on the round to keep you covered in the event of an accident.Highly recommend cause well you’d rather be safe then sorry when it comes to this type of thing.

This is a good quality, inexpensive camera and the playbacks on my computer screen are crystal clear. It is also simple to set up and to operate. The instructions are written in clear intelligible English. I am NOT a techy person and usually technical instructions leave me cold and frustrated, however, these instructions were simple, straightforward and then the camera did everything it was supposed to do. I especially liked the final summary section, 'Main Functions and Features', All too often I can get so caught with the minutiae of the techy instructions that I forget that I forget what it is I am trying to achieve. This section acts as very useful reminder. The unit has a good strong suction pad as well and overall I would definitely recommend this product.

You get what you pay for. Decent product, and did the job. I only used this whenever I travelled overseas and hired a car, therefore I needed something quick to set up and record in case anything was to happen.

Great camera nice clear picture the only thing the picture stays on all the time so at night a little bit distracting but it does the job east to set up get the right memory card

We bought this previously but it was stolen after a car crash we had.We bought a different one but then purchased this again as it’s so clear and very highly recommended

Nice and easy to navigate around the menu. I installed a 32gig card and transfer it to my laptop to review any footage I need to see. Works well, clear image. I have not tried the suction cup as I used the permanent fix which seems to be holding firm. The wide angle takes in all the road and pavements so once you have it in position you will capture all you need to see. I have not tried it at night as yet, so am unable to comment, but it is a great bit of kit for the price that I would recommend.***UPDATE*** After 2 days use the dash cam has decided to fail to power up. I have discovered the car cable is faulty. I have sent a message to the seller and so far had no response. Amazon are no help to replace the cable.***UPDATE*** seller supplied a new cable and has been working fine. One comment I feel worth adding though, is that the camera works itself loose from its fixing whilst driving, which is very annoying having to continuously re-mount it.
