great fixture to add strength to rotators
A bit expensive for what it is but then it is useful for building strength in my rotators. A useful device if you're a weight lifter.

Must Buy For Any Lifter
I bought my first Shoulder Horn after my right rotator cuff just ached at night several years ago. It was hard to sleep. As a heavy lifter, I know I should train the rotator cuffs, but I never had to until I got older. At first I spent time doing all the recommended regular rotator cuff exercises with weights - using dumbells, or plates, or cabled machines. It wasn't until I found the Shoulder Horn that I got relief. The program is simple and takes almost no time - and no weights if you have some gallons of paint or water. I found the ache went away after a month and I was in better condition after about two months. If my brother hadn't lost my original one, I wouldn't have had to recently buy another one! I highly recommend anyone with rotator cuff issues to give this a try before surgery!

I am very pleased with this item
Bought to rehab shoulder. Dr. had said it was bursitis and not curable, but I beg to differ. I suspect is was muscle development that was not balance and this added muscle where wasn't all being worked and corrected the problem. I am very pleased with this item.

Not as good as expected
For 75 bucks it’s way over priced especially considering the construction materials used but I can’t find an alternative out there yet. My shoulders are a mess from years of lifting and generally taking a beating so I figured this would help strengthen the weakened rotators and small muscles in the shoulder. It might do that, only had it a week and used it according to suggestions that accompanied the device. Similar to a Cuban press except your shoulders are locked in a stationary position which I think is good. Go light and use after a workout not before. I hope in a few months I can return and update this to say it’s really good but for now it’s just ok at best and too expensive.

Excellent item
This item is excellent for area-specific training. There is no other comparison as of yet, I have found. As long as the padding lasts for a long time without wearing out, this is a quality item. It is as expected.

Sizing issues
I ordered the XL/XXL because I was right on that side of the weight/height measurements, but the XL/XXL was definitely way too big. My arms hung down and were not properly supported. Seller exchanged my ShoulderHorn for a M/L model that fits perfectly. I was a little irked to have to pay return S&H when I ordered the size I was suggested, but other that that the product is great and my shoulders feel great.

If you are post recovery rotator cuff and are into ...
If you are post recovery rotator cuff and are into the rehab phase, use this device to stablize the shoulder. If you are a lifter, please use this to strengthen your posterior deltoid and rear rotator complex. Your bench press and shoulders will improve.

Perhaps not a necessary device
Although the Shoulderhorn does do a great job of holding the arm in a position that maximizes the benefit of rotator cuff exercise, it is my opinion that the same arm position can be held relatively easily without the aid of this device, provided the person exercising has done even a minimal amount of internet investigation of how the shoulder is constructed and what arm position is necessary to isolate the rotator cuff muscle.
