Exactly what I’ve been needing my whole life
The springs are very strong. They are good for parting. They are metal rigid. No pulling. Excellent value. So far it’s been a great purchase. They’re also attractive enough to wear in a style, unlike alligator clips. I use them every day. They’re the best clips I’ve ever owned.

Works for everyday and for amateur hair work
Regular haircuts take too much time out of life, so when my hair gets too long, I use these to hold it up out of my way.They hold tight. The tips meet instead of going cockeyed. They are nondescript. (I am not trying to call attention to the mess.) Made of metal, they won't break easily.When someone needs something done and a pro is not an option, I have plenty of clips for the job.

These are a great price for a dozen clips that seem to be good quality. They are made of metal and seem sturdy and will hold my hair twisted into a chignon. They are a little heavy for me, since I have a tender head and try to keep whatever I wear in my hair light, so I returned them and ordered plastic ones instead. These are a little longer than I preferred also. So they may be great for someone who needs more length and sturdiness than I do (I have very fine, short/medium length hair).

Springs can come apart after long-term uses. That's a normal occurrence.
They seem perfect for holding my hair. They are strong although a bit smaller than I thought. I recommend them.

*the seller contacted me right after posting this review and we worked together to resolve. Excellent customer service! Update May 25, 2023*If using with any product on my hands, I'm not able to grip the clip. So frustrating!! I have to use a tissue to use for opening, placing and removing. So disappointed since everything else about the clip is great. Nice and long, and will hold a small or large amount of hair equally well.Off to find a different set.
