The bulb is very bright! I have it in a back room that always seemed dark and shadowy, even with a hundred watt bulb. No longer! The arms are great--I have them angled exactly where I need light. I can clearly read the buttons on my washing machine without using the flashlight on my phone when I want to change settings. I wouldn't mind getting another set for my garage. It is much smaller than it seems in the picture, but that may be a good thing depending on your fixture. It is also made of light-weight plastic, so practically weighs the same as a regular bulb.

Update 2: second light stopped working a couple weeks after the first. The manufacturer quickly replaced both with no hassle, free of charge. Hopefully it was a bad batch and these last longer.Update: One of these stopped working after 4 months. Waiting for the other one to go.I love these for the price. They brighten up my workshop nicely and I like that they just screw into the existing socket.

I have a garage/shed with a high ceiling; over 14 feet. Regular LED 60 watt equivalent just weren't cutting it. The moment I installed the first one the whole place lit up. The four of these has made every corner bright. Compared to the other brand of deform light I installed in the middle of the garage that boasted the same LUM... these were a better deal and far brighter. I'd recommend in a heartbeat and buy again. UPDATE! After writing this review I DID buy more to install in my other garage!

1 of 2 LED bulbs failed. Seller is replacing it. I've changed my review to 4 stars. The bulbs are very bright and install in an ordinary light bulb socket. If the new bulb is OK I may upgrade my review again to 5 stars. I do like these bulbs.Update 4/14/21. I'm lowering my review to 1 star. These bulbs burn out quickly. Initially I ordered 2. One failed quickly. Seller sent me two more quickly. I've been using them, one at a time, never two at once for the last 10 months in my garage. The light is on an average of 10 hours per month. All 4 have now burned out, one by one consecutively. On average they last 2 1/2 months or about 107 hours each.

Holy crap is my garage bright now. Love these...only wish I could get them to come on when I open my garage door instead of the crap single bulb my opener has! Only problem is the main diffuser (center circle) on one was popped off in the box. Wasn't broken and went right back on. Didn't affect functionality. Have only had it for a few months now...no statement on longevity.

As energy efficient light bulbs became the norm, so did increased darkness! While many rooms do not require and maybe even want a brighter light, garage, shed, basements can all use increased brightness and these deliver. I can add that the cost is so much less than changing the light fixture a=or adding another to get the brightness required. While this is 'just a light bulb', it is a good looking light fixture for these areas of the home. While the difference is stunning to the point of being too bright, it is a soft light - not like looking into the barrel of an LED flashlight. If you want to simply brighten a typically dark area - garage, basement garage, etc - this is a fast, easy and economical choice.

These are installed under a covered deck outside but rain protected. They are exposed to dew and temperature changes . They have been installed about 6 months. Plenty of bright light with minimal energy consumption , the only problem is there is a small opening somewhere that admits gnats! The lenses are filling up and there is no way (that I've found so far) to remove them for cleaning. That problem will be gone for winter and I'll come up with something by spring cleaning. Otherwise, great bulbs. B-T-W, have two in my garage and it's a great improvement over incandescent bulbs.

only had these lights since june 2020 and both quit working. the first one went out second week in dec. 2020, and the other went out today, 1-11-2020. one lasted 6 months and the other lasted 7 months. never buy this one again..
