How do I clean my fish tank When cleaning your aquarium, you should just remove part (10-15%) of the water and replace it with fresh, dechlorinated tap water (bowls and vases require larger water changes more often). While you are doing this, you should use your siphon to suck up some of the gunk that collects in the gravel and decorations. If you have an under gravel filter, it is very important to clean the gravel when you do your weekly water changes, this will prevent detritus and other decaying organic matter from blocking the passages between the pebbles and restricting water flow. How to pick decorations for a fish tank When it's time to pick decorations for a fish tank, what you decide to add should meet two main criteria. For one, the decorations that you add should offer the fish a proper sense of atmosphere with elements that allow them to hang out in a particular area of the tank that they prefer or to find shelter if needed. The other is that you should make the appearance of the aquarium fit with your style and your home or office, so that it is the focal point that you want it to be. When it comes to exactly what to add to your fish tank, consider a mix of soft elements like plants, mixed with some hard elements such as a big rock, coral, or other hard structure. Different types of fish appreciate different structure, so mixing it up will offer something for every fish. What is a fish nursery tank The isolation & nursery fish tank safely separates newborn fish / fry from mother and other fish in your aquarium with an ingenious design. Depending on your needs, you can also use it to isolate injured fish or young fish, create a safe breeding area, and/or provide separate quarters for aggressive fish.

Holes in mesh too large!
I got this with the intention of using it for fry Electric Blue Acara… The description says it is suitable for pregnant/breeding fish & fry, IT IS NOT. It was too late to save my fry when I transferred the first batch into this net that they instantly fell to the bottom of the net, through the grate (as intended) and fell straight through THE NETTING into the swarm of awaiting other fish below (not as intended, clearly). Very sad & avoidable. Returning & NOT recommending for fry or live bearing mama fish to give birth in. Otherwise would be fine for injured/aggressive or otherwise quarantining adult or larger juvenile fish.

Netting too large
Fry was able to get out of the netting. Also, you have to take it apart to get the babies out of the bottom if there are any left. The larger fish having babies could squeeze along the sides and get into the bottom part where babies should be. I would not buy this for guppies or other small fish.

Great assembled without the inside dividers!
My male guppy was harassing the females too much, nipping fins and removing scales. Now he lives segregated - but gets conjugal visits. When I have baby guppies, I put my Betta into the second one so that he doesn't eat them all. Very Good and versatile product. I ordered two more in the larger size.

Mesh holes are too big (guppy fry)
I was in love with this box, very spacious so the female won’t stress while giving birth to the fry. Divider worked perfectly and babies were able to get away from the mother. Later that night I found several babies in the tank and thought another guppy gave birth. Turn out it wasn’t the case and the babies were able to go in and out of the breeder box. Confirmed on another tank as I ended up with several fry in the box when all female guppies were out in the tank. Love the dividers and the size but as a breeder box the net is too big which could be considered a major flaw. On the other side if you don't like to isolate the female to give birth the babies can get away from the adults in the tank by swimming into the box. However, no insurance that the babies will stay in.

Not high quality but ok
Serves its purpose but had to put plant on the bottom to hold it in place; no mobs or anything to stable it. Also suction cups fall off and don’t stay attached so you’re picking them up from the bottom of the tank. If you don’t have high expectations, this is good for you.

it works
while i like the size of this nursery there's a couple of things that need to be addressed.the net is rather thin and doesn't really cover the frame and the suction cups flatten outquickly and don't hold that well. but, because the others are just like this one i would buy it again if the price is right.
