High quality switch box for industrial equipment or hobby projects
There are tons of uses for this button box outside of operating a winch or controlling a large piece of equipment like an injection molding machine. The switches have normally open and normally closed contacts and are easy to wire up as a button box with an Arduino or other controller for operating just about anything you can think of. E-Stop is good quality and large so it's easy to press when needed. Just about everything is plastic but it's high quality plastic and the switches have a nice mechanical action to them that's very satisfying. For high current applications, it's easy to wire up some relays and have these switches trigger them on or off.The three color switches are momentary and the E-Stop is of course latching and releases when you twist it to the right, as indicated on the top. There are no lights in these switches, but the tops screw off if you wanted to change the color or put some text under the tinted part. It's also possible to change the labeling above the switches if needed. I haven't been able to figure out how to do it, I think you just pry off the clear cover and there is a piece of paper underneath.Overall, a very high quality switch box. There's a rubber piece that goes between the top and bottom to help keep moisture out but I imagine this box is designed mainly for indoor use since I don't see any IP rating for it. I'm using this for a motion platform on a Racing Simulator. One button to start/stop, the other 2 buttons raise or lower the overall intensity and of course the emergency stop button disconnects power. The switches are connected to a USB board which the computer sees as a joystick controller. Just one use case, works great for me.

Easy to set up, works well
I have to be honest. I am shown a list of things I can select to review. This was on the list, and with visions of building a TERMINATOR type controller, I had to get it. And now, I don't know quite what to do with it. I have tested it, it all works very well, the stop kills everything, very good stuff. But I build tiny electronic devices to go in models (The toy plastic sort, not the swimsuit sort) so this is slightly over kill.I may put it on my bench drill. However, in testing it is strong, very well made, there is a tab next to each button where you can label with a sharpie. Good amount of space inside for cables. A very useful piece of kit.

Works great
The switches work well and are kind of fun to play with, too.
