LOVE, LOVE THIS VICTORIAN BISTRO SET
Many years ago, about 8-10 I had originaly bought this victorian bistro set in white, and it lasted, and lasted, finaly one chair did crack, I could have bought some other plastic chairs to replace, but decided to re-buy the set in the hunter green, reason being, the white got dirty and was hard to clean, this way, if it gets dirty from the elements it wont be so noticeable, I am very, very happy to have found this again, love the green color, arrived the next day after ordering, took aprox one hour to asemble, very easy, which was a breeze, I have to disagree with some other reviews who complained about the size and weight, the size is about medium to large as bistro sets go, and is not tiny, my husband and I fit comfortable in the chairs, we are of average weight and height, we do not feel squished or confined, the table is large enough to put a boquette of flowers, or led solar candle, or a statue, and of course there is room for full size plates and cups, there is a weight limit of 200 pounds! I can see if you are large or over weight this will not work for you, or other traditional bistro sets, by the way I have seen many bistro sets, some much tinier than this, were the table is half the size, or smaller, and room for one plate and one cup, and the chairs 30% smaller, as for the weight this is a decent weight, and is not light weight, my other set never blew over once, the cost is very reasonable and a fantastic buy for what you get, so no complaints there, I get the feeling some people want to buy everything at give away prices, my house is a french chateau, and is completely parisian decorated, so this ties in beautifuly, I am now seriously considering buying another set or two, one for my front porch, or garden, one for my upstairs deck, the one I just bought I put in my entry way, as I have a street post clock and eiffel tower display case, this makes it look like a cafe as I have led lights strong about, as you can see, you really cant go wrong here folks

not what I was expecting
I am not 100% sure if maybe the description was misleading or I misinterpreted but I was expecting some kind of semi solid plastic / metal set for my back patio that could actually be used to sit at and use. This set however is decoration only and is flimsy plastic that is unable to support any weight what-so-ever....

Victorian Bistro Set
This Victorian Bistro set is PVC with the look of iron. It has very ornate details. The plastic construction is light weight. Strong gusts of wind have blown the chairs over. It does have a really nice ornate look with brushed antique gold color over black. I will not leave it outdoors for the cold of winter. Ours arrived with a broken bracket piece in the box. It does capture the Victorian look I had hoped for. It is not sturdy enough for heavy use. It does make a nice yard decor addition or would look equally as nice indoors for some Victorian charm. It seems to be constructed more for looks then use. I personally would rather have wrought iron.

sturdy enough for me at 120 lbs
My neighbor has this set and i am in love with it! it is so adorable and you really wouldn't even suspect that it is plastic until you touch it. I sat very comfortably in it at 120 lbs. I It didn't seem flimsy and i will be buying one of these myself when they are available again. We have kids and i think this is a very "fancy" (for plastic), very usable piece of furniture for them and us. It's durable (my neighbor has had it for years and it looked like new), it is very portable (our drunk neighbors put it on top of someone's camper as a joke - it is that light weight), and compared to other kid-friendly, portable, durable items, this has a much classier style. Lastly, the fact that it is plastic it made it very comfortable to sit in. I was expecting an uncomfortable metal seat. What a surprising treat that it was made of plastic!

very pretty BUT NOT for regular use
3 Piece Victorian Bistro Set I bought this set for my new porch and as for looks, it is BEAUTIFUL, if you want it for regular use, FORGET ABOUT IT.....IT IS CHILD SIZE and NOT STURDY AT ALL.....It is a nice little set and great for the kids to sit at BUT it is definitely NOT FOR BIGGER PEOPLE OR ADULTS .........IT is VERY LIGHT and FLIMSY, again, i do not reccommend this for daily and regular use to sit at.......NICE SHOW PIECE........
