Disappointed...but hey ho, live & learnNot entirely sure what's going on with some pages, bit weird

I was very happy with this paper. Cuts perfectly on my machine. The Glitter paper is beautiful, and I would buy a whole book of just these if I could!

This scrapbook has thoughtful touches - from the way the inside expands, to the little tab holding the front changeable picture in place, it impressed me so much for a ‘modern’ product, that here I am writing a review! (I don’t do it often!) The outer plastic jacket can be removed, (stickers peeled off super easily) but I like it on, as it protects and makes the design look even more sumptuous. I’ve taken pictures of the inside so you can see the ‘snap’ system. It reminds me of a cable tie - little notches that allow it to expand gradually and cleverly click in and hold, covered by purple flaps of card. I also bought 5 refill blanks on Amazon and added them at the back (they seem slightly less glossy than the originals...but it’s a different company that produces them).I actually bought this to hold my cricut 12x12 vinyl atm, but love that I can turn it into a ‘proper’ (and long lasting) scrapbook of a future holiday when I want to! (The inserts are acid, lignin and PVC free. Each has a sheet of white copy paper in).Minor gripes I can see...the middle ‘binder’ section of purple is only paper, not reinforced and I can see it may tear over time, especially if you use the snap system a lot to move the wallet order around/are constantly inserting new wallets etc. I also bought a ‘gardenia’ scrapbook by the same company and unfortunately, it’s not quite as good quality, despite being essentially the same product (came in shrink wrap, plus the outer stickers didn’t peel off plastic jacket, (it was really crinkled up anyway) so had to ditch that and the inside lining paper and wallets don’t line up properly, like in this one). Not sure if it’s an ‘older’ product, or just old stock, but hey, I’d still buy again because they’re expandable, with beautiful designs and thick covers.

Has a window you put a personal photo in Snap load is very easy if you want to add extra pockets I always buy this type as you can move pages around just by pulling them out of the pockets & moving to a different position when doing a family history through time, especially if you have loads of photos /documents

Beautiful and excellent quality

Covering plastic is badly warped. Underneath is fine - but the colour is very different. A deep purple not a pink purple as shown.The album is good, you can fit in extra inserts which is what I like, quite a lot many more as the file is expandable. The system of inserting extra pages is a bit tricky, but easy once you realise how. However, the expandable spine is made of a very very thin paper which can very easily rip and mine has done so around the hole punch area. This is a shame as the product designers could have easily used a thicker more robust card or laminated thick paper instead. The album itself does feel very good quality and looks nice, and you can add a front square image in the frame at the front which is a nice touch. The only other problem I have with it is that if you are filling it quite a lot, you will find the plastic inserts (you can buy more 12"x12" sleeves e.g. papermania brand). They do hang low beneath the edge of the base of the album when you lift it. I would really like an extra layer of protection for the album - specifically a box cover that you can slip it into when storing away - like you see on other photo albums sometimes. I have used this album for my art-portfolio collection of Square artworks. For some reason square art portfolios are apparently not yet made, nor are square ringbinders. So this was the closest thing and it works quite well for my purpose except for the noted design flaws.
