Good Solution to mount a center speaker under your tv
A clean and simple way to mount a center speaker under the tv. I did a tilted corner mount and added zip tie restraints attached to the back of the speaker to this unit to ensure it stayed on the shelf. Note, you may need to add a washer under the upper attachment locations on the tv if this unit is only under the lower mounting screws.

Hangs the Blue-ray well from the "flown" TV set-up
With how our TV room is figured, I had very few options to set up my 50". Like the 7.1 system speakers mounted on the ceiling I used in my previous home, this was a fantastic product for "flying" my TV. The build quality is solid, it's sturdy enough for a blue-ray DVD and Roku, it's a great value for your hard-earned funds, and looks great (as it shouldn't distract), a no-nonsense resource for the job.

My detailed (maybe too much?) review of the Mount-It! 2-shelf mount.
Hello everyone, here's my review of the Mount-It! 2-shelf wall mount. I purchased this mount from Amazon for my parents' wall-mounted T.V. It is a Samsung T.V. somewhere in the 35 inch-40 inch range, and is wall-mounted using a swinging arm purchased from Costco (see picture 1). They have a cable box and a Blu-Ray player, which was the perfect situation for me as I purchased the wall mount with 2 shelves. Details about what's included/description of parts: The box is a long white but thin box and the parts are: 2 glass shelves, 2 mounting posts labeled "right metal piece" and "left metal piece", 4 shelf supports (2 labeled "right shelf support" and 2 labeled "left shelf support" and they all have suction cups to support the 2 shelves), 4 shelf clips to prevent the shelf from slipping, 2 sized washers and 2 sized screws. The mount feels like okay metal: the two posts that attach to the T.V. extending straight up are a little flexible. If you're one for consistency, then the silver colored screws and washers on the black mount may bother you but doesn't bother me much. The shelves are heavy, and you will notice a sag when you install the shelves (probably because of this weight). What you need separately: Short Phillips screwdriver (easier to put pressure on the screws when tightening), an electric screwdriver just to get the long screws out and back in the T.V. if you have a wall mount already connected, and someone to assist you to take down and put up the T.V. Steps I took to install mount (because they were different from the directions and worked out better for me): Step 1- Take the T.V. off the mount (which most definitely requires a second person to assist you. Never attempt this by yourself). In my case with the swiveling arm, I took out a bolt on the swiveling arm, and the T.V. and the back plate that is screwed to the back of the T.V. (part of the mount) came off. Step 2-I installed the supports and the shelves on each metal piece. The shelf supports and the metal pieces are mirrored of each other, so just make sure for example, left support goes on left arm. There are small holes on the supports and the metal pieces so it's easily distinguishable where to screw the supports to the metal pieces, and you have to screw 4 supports in. Place the shelf clips above the holes for the shelf support, and slightly tighten the screws just enough so the metal clip will not fall out. You want to leave clearance to slide the shelf in the next step. In total for screws you will use all 12 small screws and all 8 large screws for this step. Step 3-I removed the back plate from the T.V. and kept the screws, placed the metal pieces and 2 larger washers between the T.V. and the back plate (2 larger washers go up top), then used the screws from the back plate to attach everything together. Picture 3 shows how high I went with the metal piece (the arrow is pointing to the top of the metal piece from the Mount-It! mount). Step 4-My dad and I connected the T.V. back onto the swinging arm. Step 5-After that, I slid both shelves on one at a time to the shelf supports and then tightened the screws attached to the shelf clips. My reasons for attaching the shelves last were simple: I didn't want to leave the T.V. flat on the bed, I couldn't have the T.V. stand upright while installing the shelves (which is what step 3 in the directions shows), and I was ensured the spacing of the shelf supports and metal pieces lined up perfectly with the screw holes and back plate that was on the T.V. already. If you buy this mount, you will see installing the shelves is step 2 in the instruction manual but was really frustrating to do at the time and a cake to do last. The final result is picture 2, with the T.V. up top, the cable box below it, and the Blu-Ray player below that. Picture 4 is cable management. Since those 3 wires went from a box on a shelf directly up to the T.V., I just wrapped each cable around the arm and taped it together using painter's tape. Every other cable below is leading to a surge protector or wall but will be mostly hid by a desk that's going right below the T.V.. Pro's and Con's: Pro's -Turning on the cable box and T.V. at the same time is MUCH simpler due to no obstructions between the remote and the IR receiver. Because the cable box is raised, it is free from clutter that was on the desk that would get in the way of the input signals from the remote (at about a 4 meter/13 foot distance). -Having the T.V. and boxes swivel together also makes turning everything on easier as every appliance's IR receiver is directly in line of sight of the remote. Other shelving mounts (like this one: http://www.amazon.com/Swiveling-Wall-Mount-Shelves-Shelf/dp/B00IUPHWYE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1451433644&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=tv+shelf&psc=1 ) were stuck to the wall and consisted of a wide black piece extending down the middle, which was unappealing to me since all electronics couldn't swivel together. -Less things on the desk makes the desk usable again. -I like the spacing in the middle and 2 separate metal pieces. Maybe it's just a design aesthetic that is appealing to me. -The price ($36.99 at the time I bought it, which qualified for the $35 free shipping) is justified. I think it is reasonable for what you are getting. -The only needed tools are a screwdriver and power drill, and someone to help you. Con's -You may want to stay away from this if you are considering putting something heavy and large like an A/V receiver or gaming console on it for multiple reasons: (1) I can forsee the weight of those electronics eventually breaking the shelf mount or breaking the wall mount as those electronic devices can be heavy, and (2) those electronics stick out farther than the width of the shelves and therefore will not sit perfectly, which will potentially cause those devices to fall off. -The weight of each shelf makes it sag. Each shelf is heavy (much heavier than the appliances they hold in my case) and I'm not sure if it is noticable in picture 2 but the cable box and Blu-Ray player are sagging down towards the front. -This is definitely a case by case scenario, but I was just barely able to plug in every cable I needed to the cable box. The 2 metal pieces extending straight down from the T.V. to the shelves get in the way of plugging in cables in plugs that are right in front of those metal pieces (in fact, the cable box I installed is a little off-center because of this). If your electronic device is smaller, or it is wider and the necessary plugs on the device are towards the edges (like a power cord on the left and a cable input on the right), then you may be lucky or you may be SOL. It also depends on the spacing between the holes in the T.V. that the mount attaches to. -The spacing between the first and second shelves is too big. If you look at picture 2, you will see there is a lot of space which is unnecessary seeing as how I haven't seen an electronic device tall enough to reach from the bottom to the top shelf in a long time. What I'd like to see changed: -Lighter shelving. I do like the quality of the shelves, but it's just too heavy and the sag can be annoying (although it is not a deal breaker for me or my parents). -The instruction manual should have steps 2 and 3 swapped. I tried following the directions, started over, and swapped steps 2 and 3 and that worked out in my favor due to me not having to do trial-and-errors with spacing of the metal pieces. -The top shelf should be lower so there isn't that huge of a spacing between the shelves. This would have worked out for me because (1) it would allow for more spacing underneath the bottom shelf, and (2) a lower top shelf would mean I could raise the metal pieces higher and use all 4 screws from the wall mount to secure the metal pieces, instead of using the included large washers (go back to step 3 for reference). -Correct the "Engrish" (not correct English grammar) in the directions. For example: "Thanks for choosing our products, enjoy the using." and "We makes every effort to assure all necessary television mounting hardware is included." TL;DR version: I do like this 2-shelf mount as it serves its purpose of raising 2 electronic devices and swivels with the T.V. for a seamless experience when interacting with these electronics and T.V., whether together or one at a time. The pro's outweigh the con's and I like the quality and style it has.

Does not sit flush to the TV
It’s unique in that it mounts to the back of the tv saving you from drilling holes into the wall. That was the biggest selling point for me as a renter. I do not wanting to deal with repairs to the wall when I move out however, the product misses the mark. It does not sit flush to the tv so everything wants to slide off the glass shelves. If it was a flush install this would be an easy 5 star review.

Good shelf
Works well. Shelf is glass which is good for below TV. I inverted mine to mount above TV in my man cave. The ceiling in 16 ft high so TV is above eye level. I had to use tie wraps to hold BOSE receiver on shelf because TV is tilted down. Instruction are subpar but if your hanging TV's you have enough smarts to figure it out. If you saved all the extra bolts from TV mounting bracket and have some metric flange nuts your are set. (eliminates hold washers in place in tight space) Instructions don't tell you how to secure rails but removing one TV mounting bolt at a time to secure each rail works well. Also, don't mount the glass shelf until both rails are installed. Leave all bolts loose to level shelf. 1/2 hour job includes gathering hardware.

Junk
Not very good quality. Would be nice if it had better hardware and could be able to pivot the angle of this. I have my tv angled down so this sits in what ever direction the tv is. Had to use other hardware from other tv mounts to make this stronger and better. Not worth buying.

Recommended and very useful when you need to attach your playstation/sattelite/ DVD or cable box. The glass surface is not wide enough to fit MY 65" and 75" TVs' - back holes are too wide. Used at the 42" TV and it is amazing!
