AirTurnManos Universal Tablet and Phone Holder with Side Mount Clamp (Microphone and Mic Stand Not Included)

I have an oversized Samsung tablet and this works perfectly, both as a side mount and connected directly to a stand.

This works well

I’ve had an Airturn Manos for several years. This is my second Airturn Manos tablet holder. I use the first one in the studio to learn music and adjust my amp setting over Bluetooth. I have the biggest iPad and it works great for that. It just made sense to get another one to go in my gig bag ( equipment needed to play out). One less thing to worry about.

LOVE the design. Very versatile and lots of ways to position this. The clamps which hold the tablet are wide enough to accommodate leaving on a heavy duty tablet case, which has to remain on to protect my iPad from the dangers of being knocked over or dropped at a performance. Had to return three others since they were not wide enough to allow for keeping the cover on, but the clamps on this one work great for holding the tablet with a case on.My only complaint is the same for some mic stands - it is difficult to twist the clamp tight enough so that it doesn’t slowly rotate down with gravity. I’m experimenting with rotating the clamp vertically so it stays in a static position, but this won’t allow me to make minor adjustments if a backlight is reflecting on the tablet and I need to move it back and forth. This part of the clamp has a screw to that you can tighten with a Phillips head screwdriver while twisting the knob, so time will tell if it holds position. The clamps and arms to hold the tablet are made of plastic - not great but thick enough to seem sturdy in the short term. I have concerns about these parts breaking during load-ins. The extension arm which clamps to my mic stand is at least metal. Remains to be seen how sturdy the materials are and if they will hold up to rigorous gigging. All in all, the best one I have found yet, just wish the clamps and arms were all metal.

This is great! and strong. Holds my iPad Pro 12.9 with an Otterbox case on it no problem. I use it for jams with friends and have my sheet music on the iPad and a second iPad Pro 11 for my effects and models. Perfect, portable set up.

The original model was very much more durable. Went back and forth with the vendor. Could not make them understand how to fix their problem of not keeping the swivel part from losing its position.

Working well

This product is terrible, buy a different one. The press seal of the main joint has failed on two of them. I gig a lot and depend on my gear. I called customer service and was treated like an idiot and told I shouldn't use it so much. (DUH!) So, do yourself a favor and look for another, two have failed for me and no refund, no help, no replacement parts, no nothing. Terrible product, terrible company.-- If, you want to have to duct tape your ipad to this after it breaks mid-set, this is the product for you-- If you want your ipad to hit the floor when the bad plastic swivel disintegrates, this is the product for you-- If you want to poor customer service, this is the product for you
