The hardest part of the entire venture was removing the log starter that had been in the fireplace for some 40 years. After that, it was a snap installing the gas burner. All the parts were there and it was really a pretty simple installation. I bought this one because of the dual burners, gives a much warmer output and makes even our less expensive logs look very realistic. I highly recommend this product.

The media could not be loaded.  After visiting several local fireplace stores and getting ridiculously high quotes, we decided to DIY. The quality is outstanding and shipping was prompt. Our only wish was that a little instruction for setting everything up was not included. Customer service was helpful, but Youtube videos were better.

No istructions provided with burner but internet research helped.

First unit had uneven flame. Contacted Doug at Dreffco and he sent out a replacement. It works great.
