Delicious delightfully sweet and sour soft and definitely fresh tasting fruit balls! Great purchase:my how quickly they disappear when you share; good thing it’s a five pound bag!

These are sweet and they have different flavors, but they are bigger than expected (not the end of the world), and more importantly, they just don't have great flavors. They aren't disgusting, but not great either. UPDATE: The more I eat these, the more I have grown to just hate the flavors. The red cherry is fine, maybe the green the next "ok" one, but the lemon tastes like if someone took lemon scented furniture cleaner, added sugar, and turned it into a ball shaped candy. These are just NOT good at all.

I'm from Utah where Sweet's is headquartered and these sour candy balls were a staple of my childhood. I always pick up some from the local Harmon's when I come to visit. I was visiting a few weeks ago and these were not in stock at any of the local stores. I looked online and their website was also out of stock. The only ones I could find were this 5 lb bag on Amazon. I decided to buy it despite the large size thinking they probably keep well. The flavor of these is inconsistent. These usually have a strong but not overpowering sour/sweet bite when you bite in that slowly turns more sweet as you chew. Only the cherry, lemon and apple ones seem to have this and it is not consistent with each piece. Some of the pieces have no sour flavor at all. The orange and grape ones are only sweet with no sour. I double checked which store I bought these from and it said the official sweets store on Amazon, so I don't think these are fakes, but they do not taste right. I would not recommend buying this bag if you are familiar with their candy.

I bought these because I was craving chewy lemonheads but I couldn't find any, anywhere! So I went on the internet and discovered this Amazon item "equivalent".I mean, they're good, I guess. The flavors are on-point and taste just like a chewy lemonhead (cherry, apple, orange, lemon, grape). But the texture is not right. The candy consists of a large, soft-jelly (maybe a little too soft?) coated in a hard-er candy shell. But the shell isn't hard, or even chewy. When you bite into it, the candy shell just disintegrates in your mouth kinda like kinetic sand. No, I don't eat kinetic sand, but if I did, this is how I imagine the texture feeling like... And then you get your whole tooth stuck in the soft jelly-like center. Its too soft because there's so much of it. These candy balls are the size of grapes. And this might be a "less is more" example. It might be better if the jelly center were smaller.I don't know... Flavor is good. Texture is bad. I bought 'em and they're here so... I'm still going to eat them, but I won't like it.
