Westcomb Men's Apoc Jacket

Wow!!! This jacket is LIGHT!!! I have researched over 20 shells (gore-tex variations and other neoshells) and ultimately decided to give the novel neoshell fabric / Westcomb brand a try.Many of the jackets in this elite tier of shells characterize their product as super light and ultimately differ by only a few oz's, but when you wear the Apoc the feel is incredible! Amazingly a few oz's do make a difference!You don't feel like there is anything on your upper body. The cut is well articulated and the weight or lack thereof truly differentiates this shell. Other little details are really appreciated (ie waist cinch inside the pockets, terry cloth on chin and neck, stretchability in key areas)I am 5-10, 155 lbs, 39 Reg in suit jackets / slim fit, and the small was perfect. I may pick up a medium for layering (with a Patagonia Ultralight down underneath).I will be skiing Northstar / wet snow of the Sierras this season and will update this review when I get to test the DWR/breathability. So far so good. A very high quality product.I have worn Northface Mountain Light, Northface Freethinker in the past for context.

Now i know what all the fuss is about Neoshell. This is an outstanding jacket. The neoshell feels so soft, much better than my event. Westcomb cut fits my shape perfectly. The avatar blue looks much nicer to naked eye than the web picture.

Fit as expected.

Just came back from skiing in Colorado mountains. Like my jacket very much - very light, snow and wind proof. Can be seen from far away, even if the heavy snow. Thanks for the high quality product.
