WMFProfi Plus Tin Opener

I have purchased many bad hand held can openers. This is pricey but worth it. I have 2 and gave one as a gift.

A piece broke within 4 months and couldn’t be fixed. I had to discard it. Not worth the money. Was initially easy to use.

Easy to use nothing to complain

No expectation of assembly. No indication of assembly. Arrived unassembled/broken/missing parts.

I cannot believe this is actually made by WMF. In person this thing looks and feels like it's going to break within few months. Cheap rivets and flimsy construction probably cost them few $ to manufacture and the rest is just brand label charge. Plastic hollow handle scratched out of the box.Totally disappointed with this brand.

This EXPENSIVE can opener broke apart into pieces in my hand after only a few uses. Cracked inside. Seller refused to replace it! DO NOT BUY THIS!

Tin Openers are one of those everyday items we need and use everyday. Tin Openers are also one of those items that come cheap or cheerful in every shape and style. The one thing they have in common is - they are useless. I have spent a small fortune on Tin Openers that promise the world and are rubbish. All we want is to open a Tin Can for Gods sake! I brought the Profi Plus must be over a year ago now and I see the reviews are mixed. All I can say is this Tin Opener has never failed me its works perfectly and has a reassuring heavy duty feel about it. As far as Tin Openers go the Profi Plus is a shining beacon amongst Tin Openers! Its lasted me longer than any other Opener I have ever used and It seems I will never need another Tin Opener.

Within a week the plastic screw handle had sheared off, at the hands of my wife, who’s pretty tiny. This was during normal use, opening a can of tuna.Amazon, as always, were great. So the refund process was smooth. But the product was not fit for purpose

This is after all only a can opener, but as with so many basic items finding one that does what it is supposed to do isn't that easy, so many items of this type and electrical s (like kettles) fail miserably doing what they were made for.This can opener works, it is very solid in construction and the steel used is first class, it should ! last a long time, does it open cans any easier or quicker than the opposition, not really, but if the workmanship in this product is an indication of anything it will still be opening cans long after others have been put in the trash bin.

It is worthwhile paying a bit more for a tin opener as this one works very smoothly and can handle tins that a couple of cheaper ones have failed to get purchase on. It has proved itself sturdy enough for its use in our household! We also have the garlic press and are impressed by this brand.
