Overall, a great product, if you can get past having them pulled up to your arm pits.
I'll give it 4 stars because it seems to be well constructed of high quality material. The exterior fabric seems rougher and possibly tougher than competing lavacore, though I've never had an issue with lavacore. The fit of these new were a bit tight, but I tend to fall between a meduim and large, so I won't blame the construction and will say they run true to size. The drawstring is not elastic. If you've used Lavacore which uses an elastic drawstring, you'll know this is a good thing, you can secure them. BUT, you don't need to as these were so high wasted I could almost have looped the drawstring around my neck.The only drawback to these - and it was a fatal flaw which caused me to return them... they are extremely high waisted. as in just over 3" above my navel. I'm 5'10", 175lbs and athletically built. this isn't a fit issue. They may have been designed this way to prevent water penetration or allow for more heat retention, but they just felt weird pulled up that high. As my intent was to wear these under a wetsuit, I did not need the "overlap" and would not have wanted it either way.Overall, a great product, if you can get past having them pulled up to your arm pits.

Great Product that misses the mark.
Well made but does not seal well at the bottom of the pant legs. You will fare better with the Scuba Pro Hybrid Shorts.

Sharkskin pants are much more comfortable than a traditional wetsuit
Sharkskin pants are much more comfortable than a traditional wetsuit. The fabric that they use is great for scuba diving in, but it dries quickly and you do not overheat when you are in it in the sun.
