Son loves it
Bought as a birthday present for my sons 13th birthday, he loves it and has been using it to track his sleep, heart rate and watching youtube videos. It is a replacement for a galaxy active which he had before and is a serious upgrade but still with the quality feel of other Samsung product. Would thoroughly recommend however I am not sure if it is the uk version with the ability to use samsung pay as it is something my son will not really be using yet.

Great bit of tech.
Great bit of kit that does pretty much everything I need it to do.I rarely wear the watch at night so can't really comment on the sleep tracker. The battery life could be better but if managed properly it's not a problem. On the whole though a very good watch.

Moved from Garmin so took a while to get used to the new app, watch itself is very good.
Everything about this watch, other than the battery life, is very good. Recommended.

OK first smartwatch, limited faces and poor features
Happy with it, mostly. It tells the time, the exercise stuff is useful and there are a few ( very limited) widgets and apps you can add. Crucially for me anyway, you can use Komoot with it. I would have bought the Huawei GT2 Pro, if only it would link to Strava or Komoot. It's got a lovely display, is light and comfy. The active 2 is not perfect. You will generally need to charge it daily, which takes about an hour. When you raise your hand (for the 'always display), you sometimes have to do this three or four times for it to work. Reverse charging does not work well. On my P20 Pro and P30 Pro phones, it doesn't work at all. The auto-exercise feature does not always start automatically so I've found it is best to use manual start and stop. The list of activities is poor but the big ones (running, hiking, cycling and swimming) are there, and the list of external apps it can link to is very limited. It sometimes disconnects on its own from your phone.Samsung have been very very stingy with the watch faces that come with the watch, but you can download more via the app - it took a while to find them!Overall, though, it's an okay watch now the prices have fallen to the one sixty mark. Shame about the Huawei GT2 Pro app situation though, and not linking to Komoot.

Received a watch with a circle of dead pixels
Obviously nobody checked this item before sending it to me. As soon as I turned it on I spotted a very noticeable sized circle of dead pixels on the bottom of the watch. Sent back for a refund.
