Fitness Gym Towels (2 Pack) for Workout, Sports and Exercise - Soft, Lightweight, Quick-drying, Odor-free - by desired body

I ordered these towels and a set of the microfiber towels for the gym to try both out and see which I like best. My first impression was disappointment when they sent me an e-mail giving specific wash/dry instructions that would mean I can't dry on high heat, use fabric softener, etc. That was not in the description that I remembered and I don't have time to baby my gym towels - I just want to wash and dry with everything else. I sent them an e-mail back with my disappointment with those instructions. They replied very quickly and stated I could dry them on high heat and use fabric softener. Once received, I'm really pleased with these towels. They are so much nicer than the microfiber towels. They are absorbent and soft and they wash and dry completely fine with everything else. I've washed them many times and there's no fraying or pilling. They are long so perfect for any workout. They are especially awesome for spinning where you can wrap it around your neck and still have room on the ends to wipe your face. Love these towels and plan to order more (and get rid of the micro fiber ones). Thanks for a great product!Updated: have been using these towels regularly for over two years now and they are holding up really well. No wear showing despite the fact that I don’t baby them in the laundry and I use and wash each of them a couple times a week. Still my favorite towels and just ordered a couple more.

I work out quite vigorously at the gym, usually 60-90 minutes on the treadmill, at a moderately steep incline, and at a brisk pace, power walking or jogging; and carrying 5 lb dumbells in each arm, doing constant curls.By 30-45 minutes, I am usually dripping in sweat. By the end of my work out, the machine usually tells me I have burned around 550-700 calories, depending on the day. (which doesn't include the weight lifting portion, which is not recorded by the treadmill)For years, I have relied on the same old fashioned cotton gym towels, which over the years have become frayed and thinned. But they did the trick, with no gimmicks.So I thought I would treat myself to an upgrade. I searched Amazon for “gym towels”, read multiple reviews, and was impressed by the reviews of this product.I regret the purchase. Though well intentioned, these towels are basically very thin by design, with little overall, cumulative absorptive capacity. By the time I am mid-way through my work out, and have wiped my neck/arms/face multiple times to remove the sweat, the towel becomes saturated through & through.Then by a certain time when I again try to wipe off the sweat, the saturated towel basically re-applies sweat back on to me. Yucky, yucky, yucky, is the most polite way to put it. It was gross.When I lie down on the bench press, I try to be polite and put a towel on it, so as not to transmit sweat to the bench, for the next user. Traditional cotton towels work great for this. Today, toward the end of my work out, it just left a layer of sweat on the bench, which I needed to get some gym paper towels to clean up.By the end of just one work out with this towel, I yearned for a traditional absorbent, thicker cotton towel, that can handle the sweat generated by a serious work-out.These towels may be OK for very casual work outs, especially for people fond of the synthetic 1970’s leisure suit feel.Myself, I’m going right back to cotton.

This is a really nice set of workout towels at a great price point. The length is a perfect size for going over the backs of equipment with a lot to spare.I've been using it for a week and washed it once when it came in. It held up well in the wash, where I've had other microfiber towels start to come apart. The stitched edges are great, I usually look for this in my car towels as well.One feature I really like is the added loop in the center of one side to hang dry it. With good microfiber towels you really want to avoid high heat when drying as it can ruin them. I typically wash all my microfiber towels together to avoid it collecting lint and debris from other garments or towels and will either dry them together on a low setting or, with these, will hang dry them.So far after one week I really am pleased with this purchase and will update this review if anything changes later on.

I bought three different towels to try and these are by far my favorite. The are super light and almost eerily absorbent...to the point that 3 seconds spent toweling off my hair after getting out of the lake and you almost couldn't tell I'd ever been swimming. I could easily dry off my suit and walk inside without dripping everywhere. They are narrow-ish compared to the length but I find that allows the towel to be easily worn around the back of my neck and over my shoulders. They've been washed 3-4 times each so I cannot really speak to long-term durability, but I do wish they made a more full-sized version for more involved use, like as a beach towel.

Good stuff, I bought the 2 pack. There are 2 towel choices at my gym, full size for showers and smaller for the workouts. The smaller are finefor wiping off your brow or the machines, I like these because they cover a larger portion of the benches, etc and are still narrow unlike a full bath towel (who wants to carry that around?) the 2nd one I'll leave in my car to use after a hike or bike ride, folds up small and fits anywhere. No smell on mine, fine product far as I'm concerned didn't want or expect a regular towel this will suit my needs just fine.
