great mirror - recently changed a sport hybrid bike to a more vintage look [changed handlebar - added leather grips and seat] and needed a new mirror. This was perfect - mirror is large, very adjustable and has a neat, retro type curve. Perfect addition to my new/vintage bike!

What a relief!
I'd read several product reviews of different bike mirrors before buying this one. I have a Specialized Cross Trail bike with straight handle bars and finger/thumb click shifters. I was concerned I wouldn't have enough clearance, but I only had to move the grip out a few millimeters to allow the mirror bracket to fit on the bar between the grip and the shifter. Still plenty of room for the shifter. The mirror also allows for adjustment so you see more of the road than your arm. A few slight angle adjustments and I tightened it down with an Allen wrench. FYI - No wrench is included for installation. Seems to be stable on the handle bars and allows for good viewing behind you while riding. I polished the mirrors surface with a spray wax just to help keep it clean - no apparent distortions and good reflectivity for a non glass mirror. I took a test spin and this mirror gives me the rear view I needed. No more twisting around to look for traffic and gives me piece of mind being able to actually see cars coming up from behind. So far I'm happy with this purchase.

Outstanding mirror for a Lightning Phantom II recumbent!!!
I'm a mechanical engineer and find the design and construction of this mirror to be outstanding. Installation was a breeze and, once adjusted like I wanted it and tightened down, it didn't budge over 50 miles of riding with some real bumpy stretches along the way. Because of advancing years and health issues I recently bought a Lightning Phantom II recumbent. I tried mounting a Mirrycle bar end mirror (off my mountain bike) to it but found that the interior diameter of the handlebar tube was too small (pipe wall thicker than normal). So, I checked the outer diameter of the tube, found it was 22.1mm and ordered this Venzo. I found that if you mount this mirror to the horizontal section of the bar (it won't work next to the grip because of the "drop" shape of the handlebar on this bike) it puts the mirror at eye level and you're looking over your left shoulder with no obstruction and a wide field of view. I've had a lot of bike mirrors over the years and this set up on this recumbent is the best of them all. I'm going to write Lightning Bikes and advise them that they should offer this mirror as an option for this bike. And, by the way, it looks good too ... like it was made for the bike. Haven't tried this mirror on any other bike, but on this 'bent it's the cat's meow. And, oh yeah, the "Merry Mom" handle ... that's my wife ... it's her login ya see.

A must have if you ride with a bike trailer
I set up a Weehoo, tandem bike trailer on my bike for my kiddo to ride along on, and thought it was great. Then I looked more at it and said to myself, “Wow, that is long.” That was when I realized I wanted a mirror to be able to see my son on the tandem bike trailer.I originally bought a different mirror. It was okay. It was very bothersome when leaning my bike up against things because I’d have to lean it on the mirror (for this one, you can tuck the mirror in which is super cool). The mirror was also a standard round shape that, while functional, wasn’t amazing. This one has an oblong shape that I feel gives a better view.I decided to get a mirror for 2 reasons. Firstly, so that I could make sure my son was always okay. I know that people ride with bike trailers all the time, but I just wanted one as an extra precaution. Secondly, I wanted to be able to talk to my son and have him know that I could see him when talking. Since most of our trips are on trails, this is great. This fits both needs perfectly. I feel safer, and can more easily communicate. The one downside that I hadn’t thought of is that the mirror does vibrate while biking a little. The other one didn’t really. Now it is not enough to make it difficult to see or anything, just enough to be visible. I will say this though - while I wish it didn’t, I don’t think there is any way a mirror wouldn’t do this, I mean bike rides are bumpy. I feel like I just hadn’t used the other one long enough to notice. This seems like simple physics, so it doesn’t make sense to deduct a star for that, and besides, it’s not like you are staring at the mirror. For me, this was a must have accessory for riding using a tandem trailer. I use it all the time, and the quality is great. I am very glad that I got it, and it gives me peace of mind.

Will not fit many bikes. Make sure you check the size of your handlebars. Will not fit a bar with diameter larger than 7/8 inch.
This product is a mystery to me. It seems very well made but the bracket that attaches to the handle bar is much too small. I have several bikes of different types. It didn't fit any, with or without bar tape. it is a hinged bracket, so there is not a lot of hacking you can do. by my measurements, it will fit bars diameters from 3/4" to 7/8th inch. (It is fairly snug around my thumb to give you a sense of the diameter.) If you have a bar that is smaller (I don't think such a thing exists), you could wrap the bar with tape. But, as I said, I couldn't figure out any way to make it work with a bar with a larger diameter than 7/8th inch -- and besides I need to have it work with some tape on the bar. It wasn't even close. A mystery.

Overall Great Mirror
I bought one left mirror and only needed one mirror for the trails I ride. The mirror stayed in place for a 20 mile ride after tightening it in the position I needed which was great. I don't ride incredibly bumpy trails with my comfort bike so I'm not sure if it would stand up to a gravel road. It is perfect to see other bikers riding up from behind and is surprisingly clear for being stainless steel. It has a nice look to it and it's relatively cheap.

Unbreakable sturdy and elegant
Great unbreakable item. My previous mirror broke because bike fell down and landed on the mirror but this mirror somehow does not become first point of contact when bike falls down. The stem of mirror is aluminum so it won't break. The only thing I need to live with is slightly ugly optics. Remember this is not a glass mirror. It's a steel material which will never crack but will not give you even image. Really no big deal as u can see the rare traffic clearly but it's just a slight cosmetic issue. Very pleased over all. Bought right sided mirror as well (hard to get in USA, purchased from Australia)

Sleek design that makes your bike look like you spent money on
Sleek design that makes your bike look like you spent money on. The bar is a bit short for the mirror. You'll see your hand by the handle grip at the view but you'd still see approaching cars from behind between your forearm and hips. I feel good biking with it. Helps a lot still.

Very sturdy, high quality
Good field of view, not staring at my firearm. Way better quality then expected.
