WWII German Assault Squad Offered by and Made by Classic Toy Soldiers, Inc

These figures by Classic Toy Soldiers (CTS) are a welcome addition to any collection of 1/32 scale World War 2 German infantry. 11 figures in 11 poses. A dark gray, they blend well with TSSD, and old AIRFIX and MATCHBOX figures, though the latter two are a little bluer in hue to my eye. Well sculpted, highly detailed, they're comparable to TSSD's Elite German soldiers. All are in natural, action poses. I sampled several for height and they ranged from 2 1/8" to 2 5/16", so they are truely 1/32 scale.One figure is running with a flamethrower, fuel tanks on his back. As far as I know, nobody else makes a German flamethrower guy. Two figures are armed with Maschinengewehr Modell 34 machine guns, one standing and firing, the other prone and urging his comrades on. Three, including my favorite, a German pulling the handle pin on a "potato masher" grenade, appear armed with Mauser Kar 98k carbines. Included is a kneeling Panzerfaust anti-tank projectile guy. There's also a German surrendering, hands clasped over his head, and a deceased German, who bought the farm while trying to load his MP 40 submachine gun.A fine set, highly recommended.

Very detailed. Can't wait to start painting them. Love that there is 11 poses. Not as fond of casualties but this is a good one. Immediately started looking for similar buys from classic toy soldiers. At least, this particular set, is very comparable to TSSD.

Excellent details,great sculpts. Adds a lot of needed weapons to your German Euro troops.Good value for price. My set had a few bent weapons- easily corrected.
