Considering the last alarm clock I bought (from a different manufacturer, of course) was around $15 as well, I was expecting this one to be cheaply made. I was looking for an alarm clock that was affordable and simple, and I stumbled upon this one. I was hesitant, given the price and the experience I've had with other cheap alarm clocks, but I needed a new one to replace my then current alarm, which would sound for about 2 minutes and automatically go into snooze.This clock, on the other hand, is about everything I wanted in an alarm clock!! Adjustable brightness, simple enough to use, and best of all, it wakes me up! Don't get me wrong, I am a deep sleeper. I need something to wake me up in the morning so I can go to work. This alarm starts off with a subtle sound, and progressively becomes louder, which is perfect for anyone who doesn't want their alarm to blare in the morning, thus giving them a rude awakening.The only thing I can think of that is a bit questionable, is the fact it doesn't have the typical plugin most alarm clocks have. Instead, it has a USB adapter. Not necessarily a problem, given the fact it still runs on batteries, just kind of a strange design decision.I have no regrets though, and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable alarm.

You can change the brightness so you don't get blinded in the middle of the night, and turn it up during the day so you can read it across the room. It's also really lightweight, so much in fact that I've sent it flying a few times by accident, but the aftermath of those events is a testament to this little clock's durability. One thing that I love is that it's USB powered, so can hook it up to whatever I need, and my laptop is a go-to. Since there's so few outlets in my dorm, this is a lifesaver, but it's also nice to just be able to plug it in when traveling and not having to scramble for an outlet when you're fixing to pass out. 10/10.

Very lightweight compared to other clocks of this type. Most of the time you add batteries and it weighs more to hold it down when you hit snooze when alarm goes off, etc.LEDs are very bright and work well. I was not even aware it showed the date and time along with the temperature of the air around it until I read the manual to setup. That is a nice touch. It goes through all the items when not used - date and time, temp and then clock.Setup was VERY easy and no problem as well. MAKE SURE YOU READ THE SMALL MANUAL AS IT EXPLAINS ALL OF IT.Alarm is loud so it will wake you up.

The quality and size is superior to larger and more complex stands and features. Setting time or alarm times is easy and intuitive. With 4 AA batteries onboard, the travel time/camping with no power outlet allows the device to shut off display until a button is depressed and still activate alarm.Recommend and will buy again as Christmas gift...

Edited to add:I was sad that after having this clock a few days, the display is no longer clear, and the minute time is impossible to read.. Y son was so disappointed. Hopefully, I just got a dud.When I first opened this clock, I was surprised at the size. But I quickly realized all the different options it has for an alarm, brightness level (it has a night mode!), temperature reading, etc. I got this to use in my son's room and soon-to-be baby's nursery, so having the dimming feature was important to me. My son absolutely loves that he has his own clock now. One thing to note is that is plugs in with a USB, but you will need an outlet/adapter to do so. It does come with the cable, however. The mirror look is nice, and I would definitely buy again.

I was looking for a clock that would look good and also show the time clearly. I had an old school one with the red led display but it was dated and wanted something that was more modern and elegant. This fit the bill perfectly, It has a great mirror finish and the digits are white. You have an option to make the display brighter or dimmer, looking through the manual it states that it has a Night mode too and changes the display according to the time of the day. The alarm is great too but I don't use it for the alarm. This came with a charger and has the option to add batteries(AAA) to it, to make it more portable and it's very light in case you want to travel with it. There is a temp mode too which displays the ambient temperature in the room and has been quite accurate so far.

This alarm clock is very sleek, compact and light weight! It looks great on my daughter's bedside table! She actually uses it as a mirror (teenager!), lol. We do wish that it would stay illuminated with the time while using just battery power (Takes 4 AA's). We also would love for it to be louder!! She slept thru it the very first morning using it for school. (Thank goodness I'm her back up alarm.) I was able to set this alarm clock up without looking at the directions. It also tells you the temperate in the room which is pretty cool!All in all, it is a very simple little alarm clock! It would be great for traveling!

I bought this clock to replace an outdated LCD clock I have been using since about 2002.The brightness is excellent and you can adjust it high, which is comparable to having a nightlight in the room or low which is still bright enough to see from across the room vividly.It can be set to 12 or 24 hour clock setting, a date mode, and temperature.You can have it cycle through all three setting or just display the time and view the other settings by clicking on mode button.It operates via USB or batteries. If you use the USB cable you have to supply the 110v adapter.Good clock decent price.
