I ordered these for my parents for Christmas. I opted for these rather than ones at Costco thinking these were "fancier." When I got them, I noted they looked rather thin in the package, so opened it to feel if they were soft (maybe it was just air compressed?). Well....I wasn't impressed. I thought maybe they will soften up once they are washed, but I in reading the reviews it does not seem to be worth maythe risk as lint seems to be an issue. I am going to return them. Just don't want to deal with the uncertainty of "maybe...." I will stick with the ones at Costco for the same or better price.

This product is very soft and feels good against the skin. However, it arrived with this strong chemical smell out of the package. I washed the towels on their own according to directions and used a fabric softener to try to remove the smell, which didn'twork.After drying the towels there was a lot of lint in the trap, but that is expected with new cotton towels. After washing and drying the chemical smell is still there. I'm a bit concerned but I'll try washing them again to see if the smell leaves. I use sensitive detergent and "natural" fabric softener for reference. If it doesn't, I'll be returning.

Based on the positive reviews, we bought these towels. After using them for a couple weeks, I’m surprised that that so many others were impressed. The towels are smaller and thinner than our other towels. They are fairly soft but their thinness keeps them from being very absorbent. My wife and I both regret making the purchase.

A little thin, and not very big to wrap around you too much. It’s exactly like a hotel towel, soft, a little thin, and not too big. Like it, best towel I have found. Better than anything at bed bath and beyond. Would recommend

I am soooo picky when it comes to towels. My husband has been giving me grief over the fact that I have had some of my towels for over 20 years. We bought some other towels that I hate. I was doubtful I would find towels that I would like more than my 20 year towels. These made the cut! I love how they are soft and light. They are also extremely absorbent. I am so impressed and would absolutely buy these again!

If you want soft, thicker towels, do not buy the Hammam Linen 100% Turkish Cottom Towels. Very disappointed in the false advertising. The towels are very thin and not very soft. they are not even close to luxury towels. My eight year old, frequently washed towels are thicker and more absorbent. If you want cheap towels, then these are for you. I should have spent $10 more and purchased a better quality towel. I very rarely leave bad reviews but I was so upset, I decided to do so this time.

I bought these bath towels in Sea Salt, along with the "matching" washcloths & hand towels. They all looked good right out of the package. I washed them all in COLD water on the DELICATE cycle & dried on normal for the first washing. These bath towels came out pretty close to their original state - so that's good & why they get 4 stars - but the hand towels & washcloths all look 5-10 years old now (I gave them each 3 stars). Not frayed or picked, but just REALLY dull & not fluffy after 1 delicate washing. Not convinced they are all really made of the same materials as these bath towels (& even the pics seems a little different). So, YMMV if you choose to get a "set".
