Great toy for ages 2 to 5

A gift for our grandson at 18 months of age; at this stage, its just a truck to push around with a load of brightly colored objects and little figures, but over time he will learn colors, the letters of the alphabet, build with the blocks and begin to understand how simple words are constructed , as well. It will be a good teaching tool for parents as well as a learning tool for our grandson. All individual components are sized large enough that they will not become a choking hazard . They are solid colors so can be handled without fear of him ingesting pigments, and they may be cleaned & sanitized periodically with hot soapy water without damaging the toy.

Good quality4 year old indestructible

I love lego Duplo they are chunky for small hands to grasp, stack, and pull apart. I used this set with my toddler when the older kids are doing their school work. Of course, he doesn't always ask what the letter are on the blocks but it adds another element to explore when he wants to. The colors are bright and fun and he really enjoys this set.

Not gonna lie - I thought this toy looked underwhelming online. But since my 3-year-old is OBSESSED with the alphabet, I decided to give it a go. And he hasn’t stopped playing with it since.Not only does this cute truck help your kiddo master the ABC’s, but it also fosters hand/eye coordination. My son soon learned he could stack all 26 letter blocks in a vertical tower and balance them on the truck. And Duplos never break even when they come crashing back down.Got a toddler? LEGO’s Duplo blocks are colorful, fit well together and just the right size for small hands. Great for a young child learning to use their hands and a great learning tool for an older child to learn their letters and make words. The truck, trailer and figures make it that much better. Great gift.

This is a really cool toy. I love that it incorporates both the alphabet and the truck parts. Unfortunately, this was too frustrating for our 2 year old. With wheels under the base, he wasn’t able to successfully place the alphabet blocks. He was very upset every time the trailer disconnected and he wasn’t able to reconnect it himself. In short, this is a really great toy but I don’t think the age rating is appropriate. I would say this is more reasonable for 3 and up.

We bought this for our 2 year old that is learning his letters and loves cars and trucks. He absolutely loves this. He’s learning while he plays. His 5 year old sister loves playing with it too. We can spell short words by building the words. They bring it out every day. This is a toy that I know will be very well played with for years.
