The cord points straight down which is odd...
These are good except the one quirk being the flat outlet plug that points straight down. It's not a big deal but you must put this in the lower outlet, it will block the lower one when plugged into the top. This may be really awkward if you have baseboard outlets that are turned horizontally. Heads up!

Protect your stuff from power surges
I used this surge protector for my computer, modem and router to protect against power surges. The cord is 6" as stated. If I need to reboot these items it's easy to do with the switch on surge protector.

Of the two only one functions. The second one shows the light for the breaker however multiple attempts with multiple outlets and devices confirms defective.
