Puppy training. This collar is greatest tool for controlling excessive when dogs are awalking across the street and when kids get off the school bus. Has decreased the calmness in our home knowing our goldendoodle will be well behaved during the day and afternoon.

At first, the product worked great for one of our dogs so we got another for our other dog. Our dogs both now just bark through the corrections. Batteries have been replaced since being purchased so it just seems odd they ignore the corrections now.

I really like the functionality of this collar. I purchased it for my giant great Dane, who has a barking problem of barking at absolutely nothing for absolutely ever. This collar has greatly cut down on that and our neighbors couldn’t be happier. It is easy to take on and off and to turn on and off. Sometimes the collar doesn’t even have to be turned on to be affective the dog just knows when it is wearing it. Definitely comes highly recommended and we will probably purchase another for our other dog if he keeps up his barking antics.

I bought this for my 100lbs Newfoundland puppy. His barking, every hour of the night, for months, cost me my sanity. No one could figure it out, I tried trainers, finally a vet recommended a SHOCK bark collar. This is the best thing to come into my life. It has multiple levels, and it starts at a level one the first time it senses a vibration from my dog barking. There is no delay which makes it perfect for training. Every single time within a 30 second period of his last bark, the level will go up by one. My dog has never let it get to the top level and the first several do not cause him pain. I know this because he did get almost to the top level and immediately cried out and stopped barking. The highest 2 levels are not comfortable but he has only ever done that 1 time and usually stops after 1 bark. Battery life is good, the battery for it is hard to find however. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Tried others (petsafe was one) before finding this model. Others had the strange problem of correcting the dog when it wasn't barking. Wasn't going to put up with that. This never happens with this model. It also won't go off if our other dog barks right next to her. Important note- because our dog is medium sized (with a large bark) and fairly easily discouraged from barking this worked great. When she tries to bark (rarely now) the first mild correction is enough to stop her from continuing. If there's something that really scares her or alarms her (this has only happened once so far) she will bark up till about 5-6 then stop and wait 30 seconds then start again. So your experience may vary and the more expensive programmable model might work better. FYI- first battery lasted 5-6 weeks and that was during her learning phase so lots more barks than now

This collar stops ALL barking… not nuisance barking. So the poor dog gets a zap at the first woof. That not only seems a bit unfair, but it also isn’t what I want from my dog. I want him to alert me to certain things. I just want him to stop after a certain number of barks. I’m keeping the collar because I’m connecting a verbal command to the zap (I’m always home). So I think my dog is smart enough to eventually learn to quiet at the verbal command and we won’t need the collar. BTW my dog initially got caught in the bark, zap, bark, zap, yelp, zap, yelp zap cycle. It was uncomfortable for all involved. But he wasn’t hurt. He was just extremely startled. We’re OK now and he’s learning to stay quiet AND CALM. Though I feel bad, this is better for him than his typical high-alert neuroses that keeps him on edge all day and barking and leaves.

The collar works to control barking. BUT, it is a real hassle to turn it on and off. My other collar works all the time without needing me to activate it. Also, if you leave the collar in the “on” position the battery will die quickly (within a week). The other collar I mentioned that is always “on” has a battery life of at least 6 months to a year. I would not buy it again. If you biybit, also buy the extra batteries that are often offered with it as a related item.

I have a very stubborn dachshund who will howl/bark incessantly while I’m not home and when we’re on walks. I’ve tried countless collars and most of them she figured out how to make noises the collars don’t catch or will just ignore and keep barking regardless. With this one I have not gotten a single barking alert on my furbo while I’m gone. I live in an apartment so noise is a huge factor for me. It’s also super easy to use and the collar is a nice quality unlike some of the flimsier cheaper looking ones I’ve used before. Would definitely recommend!! The only down side is the battery isn’t rechargeable so you have to get a replacement when it’s out. After how well this has worked with my dog I may end up buying the rechargeable model.

I should have read the ad more, but these aren't rechargable they come with replaceable batteries and really don't last as long as the ad says.

Helped stop my dog from barking for an hour or more when I leave. She let out two and that was it! Now she knows so she doesn’t bark anymore. I sometimes put it on her but leave it off. She sees it and knows. Life saver.
