Gripping! !!!!
Love the way Mr Watson & Mr. Allen weave a story around the characters. I know that they write numerous series and try to make the readers of said series happy. But I wait, & wait & wait for the next book in the series!!!Read this one six times so far and still it makes me laugh, and cry and want to beat up the bad guys.Yeah, I'm rooting for 'The Posse' !!?

Thumbs up for this one
This one starts with Nathan waking up alone in bed. Jasmine is already up and gone.It took Nathan and the others months to get home and the others at the compound were very glad to see them. Nathan is way ahead of the others because he knows what's out there and what it will take to survive. His kids know as well and will have no problem killing to keep them all safe. Ares, Nathans, German Shepherd was a big help on the way home. His father Apollo is also trained working dog. Apollo is even bigger than Ares and he doesn't play. Athena also survived so Nathan and his team nave three trained working dogs. All three dogs are worth their weight in gold as far as Nathan is concerned.Tim, Sherry and Nolan their baby son live in the house with Nathan and his crew. The house is more than big enough.Tim gives Nathan the low down on what has been going on around them. Everyone but Jeremy and Vickie are at the compound. The two of them were in Belize when the EMP occurred and Nathan knows they won't make it home. Anita and Floyd, two idiots, thought they could divvy up the supplies Nathan had stored for community use. Since they figured Nathan wouldn't make it home. They would try the same with Jeremy and Vickies supplies. With Nathan home that idea dies as Jeremy and Vickie left Nathan in charge of their house and what's in it.Tim and Sherry had put the kibosh to Anita wanting to divvy up Nathan's supplies. Anita is a spoiled brat who thinks she runs things. Her dad was the first man to set up the compound. When he died Anita figured she was in charge. Not so.Tim tells Nathan that the Sheriff and some of his deputies and dependents are staying at his house. The house his parents left him. Nathan isn't pleased with this at all. Tim tells him to think of it as the Sheriff and his deputies protecting his property. Both Bills and Aidens houses had been destroyed by looters. Aden's was burned to the ground and Bills was ruined.Once Nathan gets to his house and meets with the Sheriff and his deputies. He finds others there as well. The others are those the Sheriff took in to try and protect. Nathan knows taking anyone in is a very bad idea. You can't feed everyone and there are bound to be troublemakers among them. He decides to let the Sheriff and his deputies stay.Rusty Bertam and Bill Engvist were both in the Army. They both chewed sand in Afghanistan. Rusty and his wife speak of the kids. His wife, Libby, doesn't want to see kids have to fight. Little does she or Rusty know that Nathan's kids; have already fought and killed all the way from Georgia to Idaho. They are far more than the kids they appear to be.Nathan meets with Rusty, Bill, Tim and Aidan and tells them exactly what he had to do to get to Idaho from Georgia. The men are shocked but both Rusty and Bill had been deployed to Afghanistan so they knew the score. No one outside the room, wives included, would be told anything about that journey except what they already knew. And of course Nathan will decide to take on the meth heads who are tearing up the countryside. So begins one damned fine read. This one has Nathan, Jasmine, John, Rusty, Bill, Adain, Tim, Sherry, Amanda and the rest of the kids, Ares, Apollo, a man named Big D, a guy who runs the meth head gangs and is turning people in to meth heads, a Nathan, Apollo and John who find the location of the meth heads, the training of the kids in the compound, the amazement of the residents of the compound with the training that Nathan's kids have have and Nathan doing his best to protect who he can, survive and stay alive.Five Stars

Tommy and Will did it again.....
Tommy and Will have crafted a spectacular continuation to the Dark Titan Journey series after three years. Fans have been waiting/anxiously/impatiently for a long time and this story didn’t disappoint! This story is about the family Nathan gathers on his journey back home to Idaho from Georgia where he is stranded after an CME/EMP attack. As Nathan, his new girlfriend, three sons, and four daughters travel thru this new and dangerous country they are learning the new world rules and Nathan is teaching them to fight as a team....yes even a 10yr old has to learn to survive. This forth book in the series takes and starts after Nathan and family make it “home” to Idaho and the lessons he is teaching his friends that haven’t seen how bad things have gotten in the rest of the country.....so as one of his friends observed after watching Nathan’s kids in action....“Not only could Nathan take his family out to fight, he felt safe doing it. It was like a new post-apocalyptic family activity.” I love anything that Tommy and Will have written. If their names are on it I’m buying it! I’ve only read this series 4 times! As with all of Tommy’s and Will’s books, you don’t read them....you “fall” into them and become background players in the story. Tommy’s other series are all great and Will’s “Walking in The Rain” (along with his brother, MC Allen) serie are all up there on my keeper shelf!!!!! And when they write together......it’s like “crack” for a book junky like me! 😝

No! It ended too soon.
The story is unfinished, what happens next? Writing and character development deserves four stars plus. We see where the war is going and I enjoyed reading it, but the story really needs to continue. Seeing the disparate kids join into a bonded family was satisfying, watching them all develop as they witness atrocities is interesting but they're all so well adjusted.

Review of the story
Your books were good. But I was a little disappointed that you were not as detailed on you last two books. It seems when the gang got back home you started rushing through the story. You gave detailed description of the journey home but not after they got home. I have only two series of books that I love the whole story. Yours is the third. You definitely need to finish this story. Its not done.. Lisa

Loved this series
I have read all four books in this series, but this is the first one I have given a review for. Although I am reviewing this book, my comments can apply to each book. This book is an exciting page-turner. I could not put it down. In addition, I did a good amount of laughing. The authors created situations that were laugh-til-I-cried funny (It's good to have a sense of humor during an apocalypse). In addition, I did a lot of crying (This, too, happens during an apocalypse). The only thing I disliked was the amount of foul language used. If I had been one of the characters in the book I would have been the one washing out a lot of mouths with soap. And I would have used gallons. The amount of swearing, I felt, was unnecessary, over the top, especially from children (Well, you wanted my opinion). But despite the language, Dark Titan is one of my favorite series to read. I give it 4 & 3/4 stars.

Dark Titan could soon be real.
Facing the current war in Ukraine, the world is living in fear of just such a back step as Dark Titan. We all need to think outside the box and plan ahead.

Post apocolytic family of the year
I have read so many post apocolytic books that many just merge into one be it zombies or nukes whatever but when I thought about what book I will go and reread I thought about the one with the guy and his dog who saved and found family trying to get home. I first read the book s 1 to 3 few years ago and decided to reread and was so glad by the end of book 3 to find that a new one was out. You could read 1 to 4 without taking a breath if your not careful! From start to finish the journey grips you by the edge of the seat, has you closing your eyes and your heart squeezed out your chest. I just love the way the family and extended family interact. The dialog and banter even with the dogs just draws you in til you feel like Nathan adopted.you too. Just try and hurt baby Emma and I'll pop a g at on you and your neighbour! Can't wait for the next.

Another good read.
If you like Watson, you’ll love this. Another good read and easy to follow. Funny and tense, you will find yourself loving and hating characters in equal measure.
