EDIT 2-24-21 : Cannot solve the latency issue. it seems the Flame S may not be true AptX-HD as in the ad, or this transmitter cannot handle true HD. Both are so inexpensive, so I am not too surprised or upset. The latency varies by TV channel, so there could be a lot of issues, some not MPOW issues. Comcast in my area has latency almost built in.NEW ISSUE 2-24-21 edit :Hiss or hum from earphones and earbuds : Using this transmitter box on a not-Smart tv, I was dismayed at the hum on all my ear devices that I had not noticed before, Turns out, the cable that attaches the transmitter to the 3,5mm audio-Out hole on the tv is TOO SHORT, and the tv screen puts a hum into the transmission ! SOLUTION : Having had a dad who way back in the 50s and 60s worked on tube radios, I suspected radio interference . So, I got a long, heavier grade 3.5 mm extension cord ( mine 15 ft..maybe 6 would be enough, not sure w/o trying )...That means you also need an AC outlet and usb adapter wherever you eventually put your transmitter. Hiss will be completely gone once you are far enough from yhe TV.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I bought this because I've become where the family cannot stand to listen to the TV or stereo at my high volume level...First, a seniors-only issue : the instructions are TINY PRINT and QUITE POOR . Luckily, even at age 75 I am a nerd in gadgetry, with 40+ years electronic experience, Cameras, scanners, smartphones, stereo, the earliest personal computers...and including Bluetooth experience with Samsung, Motorola. LG, and MPOW....as I said - a dedicated gadget freak.Seriously, I right now have MPOW's "Flame S" earphones, "M30" BT earbuds , and "H8" over-ear heavy padded BT earphones All three are 4 or 4+ quality - for the money -....!! That is the way I write reviews. I don't compare MPOW tp BOSE, except to say MPOW at the price makes me absolutely NOT want to spend the large dollars for BOSE or SONY....There is a latency (time delay) with the Flame S phones, and will be editing this comment if I find a solution. There are different levels of APX compatibility, so maybe I can solve this and maybe not, but on most programs the latency is not that distracting. But the ability to be able to be in the same room as my family when the football game is on is very gratifying. This transmitter can be outputting to your earbuds and to a room-filling Bluetooth speaker simultaneously. Very appreciated by everyone, me especially.Try You Tube for MPOW product (or almost any product) instructions...You Tube is like an online university ! If You Tube were a Amazon thing I could rate, it would be 5 Stars.

I am using this as a Bluetooth transmitter from my television headset jack and using a pair of Bluetooth 5.0 AptX Low Latency headphones as the receiver. I fully realize this does not support the AptX HD technology, but AptX LL works just fine for me. My main goal is to be able to listen to audio while on my exercise bike and treadmill, and mission accomplished. My only complaint is that when I am not using it, I need to crawl around behind the TV and unplug the audio cable to get audio out of the TV again, but that is not a fault of this transmitter/receiver device. Very pleased with my purchase. I have been able to leave the USB connected to the TV charge port so it stays active (against the advice of the documentation included with the transmitter), but it's easier than remembering to charge it.

This worked quite well overall. It required level padding the input to make for comfortable undistorted sound. The other complaint was that if I walked the receiver beyond its reach, reconnecting was difficult.However last night, it stopped working after 11 months of satisfactory service. I've ordered another from another manufacturer with more features this time with an extended warranty

I recently got a wireless speaker for use around the house and outside. Because I still have thousands of CDs and am not a big fan of Spotify (I don't like the idea of subscribing to music), I saw the need for a Bluetooth transmitter (and receiver just in case) so I could hook up a CD player. The MPOW BH259 checks all the boxes. Works great. Took me a few extra minutes to set up because I should have set the speaker to look for the MPOW. Once I realized that, it all came to life. I look forward to figuring out other uses for the MPOW.

I received this as a birthday gift recently to use with my older non bluetooth a/v receiver. Listening to the tv now is totally better. I got the Mpow H21 wireless headset for Christmas , which works fine with my iPhone 11, but wanted to expand my listening experience with my tv. It was easy to set up the connection. So far, so good. would highly recommend both.

I have purchased several bluetooth transmitters and have always had difficuty getting them to pair with my audio receiver. I hesitated to try one more time but knowing I could return it if it didn't pair I decided to give it a go.Long story short it paired right away and it reconnects automatically on power up. I am EXTREMLY satisfied with the device!
