This is a nice soft brush and so easy to clean. I recently adopted a long hair cat and this makes brushing easy. However, I got it to help keep the clumps from forming where she hasn’t started grooming, due to her sore hips. The soft metal bristles are great for her comfort but they don’t catch the knots the way I hoped they would. You still have to really dig in. But this makes the comfort better for the cat.

when you press the release button, it does not push the hair completely off the bristles. you will have to pick it manually. i thought i was buying the brush that pushes the hair off, which it is not.

This brush works like it says it does. I have two long-haired cats and two shorthair cats. Have to be very careful with the long-haired cats, if they have Knots in their hair.

Our oldest cat hates being brushed, but he approaches and SITS to be brushed when he sees someone holding this brush. The button doesn’t move the fur out of the bristles that much, so it’s not incredibly easy to clean. We like it nonetheless.

It was easy to remove large amount of cat hair but still small amount remain on the brush

I think it does pretty good.

It simply cannot penetrate my Snowshoe's coat! It's so weird, but not all brushes are made for all coats.
