BackJoy Posture Band

The idea is great, unfortunately, if you're sitting at a desk using a laptop, or doing something involving arms stretching forward, it digs into your arms constantly. Your shoulders stay back yes, which is great, but your arms feel uncomfortable because of the constant strain against the band. I have it at the loosest level and still uncomfortable unless I am just sitting/standing with arms at sides. Was a bit disappointed about that.

Waste of time and money, as far as I'm concerned. The tension on the belt is just too weak. After sitting at my desk in front of my computer - trying to ensure my back is straight as possible, which after all is supposed to be the responsibility of the band... - one of two things happen within about 10 minutes. One, the belt-end slips out of its serrated buckle and everything falls off. Or two, the belt gradually loses its tension and I slowly but inexorably slump. I guess, like the picture shows, it only works well if you stand up straight yourself and do absolutely nothing else.

Returned this because it won't stay on right. The band kept flipping.

Minimally invasive and has a lasting effect even after I remove the band. Because the blue is quite noticeable, I often wear it under a jacket or cardigan to avoid the "what happened to you" questions.

I bought one of these at CVS and am taking it back this week. I liked the idea of a band that put pressure on my upper back and pulled on my arms to make me keep my shoulders squared up. This would have been helpful with my sloppy computer posture where I lean forward too much and slump in my chair.Unfortunately it's a struggle to get this into the right position like the picture shows. When it was situated like that, I felt it was cutting into my arms too much and probably not good for the circulation in my upper arms.Right now I've wrapped it around my chair back and across my chest, leaving my arms free. This way, it forces my shoulders back and makes me sit up straight. Actually you could do this with any long, stretch-type belt. Probably would be a lot cheaper. Hope I don't need to jump up from my chair suddenly, as I'm currently tied down.
