These harnesses are fantastic, and you simply can't beat the price. I purchased two of these (Medium Size, Blue and Green) for my very fast growing American Bulldog/Mastiff mix puppies, simply because the price was right and we'll have to buy larger ones again soon, and they have the second D-ring on the chest, rather than just the one on the back. However, we will absolutely be purchasing the next size up once the pups outgrow the first set as we have simply fallen in love with these harnesses. The multiple clips make putting them on and taking them off a snap (even for my children who had lots of trouble figuring out how to put on other step-in harnesses), they are very well crafted and I love the reflective material. Another bonus is the handle on the back which is not only helpful in controlling them a bit closer to the body, but also in assisting them into the car etc. We live on a ranch and the puppies get these very dirty very quickly, but these clean up quite nicely. If you're looking for a comfortable, well made harness at an incredible price, you've found it here!Update: I've removed one star from my review as now, 1.5 months in with these harnesses, one of the plastic buckles on the chest straps has broken on one of the harnesses. I will be contacting the seller for a replacement as I feel this was likely a fluke because we've been otherwise incredibly happy with these. I will update again soon!Second Update: I've absolutely given that 5th star back - after contacting customer service about the broken buckle they offered me a replacement harness at no charge, and worked it in a way that I will receive it with my regular two-day free Prime shipping. Not only a great product, but awesome customer service to boot!

I used this product for my 71lbs female lab and coonhound mix. I have tried many products to stop my dog from pulling during walks and normally she would prefer to choke herself out then walk calmly. The first time I used this product I attached the leash to the front D-ring and I think this was the first time she every calmly walked at my side. The only pulling issues I had during the 1 hour walk was when I first put it on her and she had to figure out that pulling was not going to work out for her and when she saw a couple of rabbits while we walked. Each time she did pull it took about 30sec – 1 min for her to realize that pulling was not working because the harness would move her body back towards the leash and lift her front leg. I highly recommend this harness and will continue to use it because it has worked a miracle for us on our walk. I will update this post if any issues arise with more use of the harness.

We purchased this PoyPet harness from Amazon.com for Niele, our 5 year old, 23 lbs (10.5 kg) pug as a replacement for his current harness, which never fit very well.This harness is super easy to adjust and put on. I’ve been looking for a harness that was both comfortable, practical, and fit well for almost 5 years. Our pug is a little bit bigger than the average, weighing about 23 lbs, with a big deep chest and very broad shoulders and a thick neck. So the normal pug-size stuff doesn’t fit, but the next size up for medium to large dogs doesn’t usually have enough adjust ability. We were using a cute little harness but the only way to get it to fit properly is to adjust it so that it is very loose and sloppy, which meant he could slip out of it very easily.For our pug, PoyPet’s fitting chart recommended a size medium. I was able to adjust the harness easily, however the neck is on it’s very loosest position (as wide as it goes). However, I love the cut on the harness around the neck and the fact that the chest piece is short enough so that it doesn’t cut into our pug’s tummy when he sits and lays down. The padded areas on the back and chest of the harness are very comfortable. The most important thing is that the harness fits well enough to not slip around when Niele is walking, trotting or running. Also, it doesn’t bother him like the loose harness did. He doesn’t even seem to care that’s it’s on.I was worried about the large clips/buckles on the harness interfering with Niele’s movement or comfort, but they are placed just perfectly to not interfere with movement or comfort. The other features of the harness that are useful are the handle on the back portion, which I’ve actually used twice in two days to pick up Niele in a pinch when he was off-leash, and the tough plastic d-rings on the back and the chest pieces. Niele’s previous harness had a metal d-ring, which was not only noisy with his ID tags on it, but was beginning to rust since we go out in the rain and water a lot.The harness is made of a reflective material which makes finding a black pug in the dark very easy even without a flashlight! There is one recommendation I could make to PoyPet regarding their fitting chart. They may want to include a range of neck measurements just in case for dogs similar to ours that have pretty thick necks.Happy Tails!Lynn, Bob and Niele

Wow.. Just wow. I took my dog for a walk last night and wow. So this is the 4th 'no pull' harness I've tried and the only one that has done anything to prevent my German Shepherd pulling me off my feet.She absolutely can't stand to have anything placed over her head, but with the neck buckle, putting this harness on her stopped that mad wrestling match each day.She walked like a dream. I watched other people being dragged by their dogs (usually me) and I pass them like my dog has had yrs of training.I couldn't recommend this more. In fact, I plan to buy another in a different color.

Our yellow lab, Olive, is a rescue dog. She spent her first few years as a prison companion. She was never trained and she has always been a pain to walk. I decided to to try this harness because, hey, I’m no quitter.On our first walk with the harness, I was convinced someone switched dogs on us! No dragging us along, no frustration, no aggression. Just a lovely walk with her by our side.The harness is high quality, durable and the XL fits her perfectly. This is a 5-Star purchase. We are so grateful! I’m only sorry I procrastinated.

These are brilliant I usual have julius k9 for my bulldog but these are better they don't pull across the chest

This harness was recommended to me by my amazing dog trainer! She has countless years of experience and says this is her favourite for pulling.The harness is great quality, and exactly as advertised! I really like this harness, however my dog is very lean and strong (pitbull) and it pulls around on her body despite having it as tight as it will go on her. Regardless of it sliding to the side, it still does the job, as it still pulls her around instead of allowing her to pull through the neck tension of a regular leash.I would recommend this harness, but measure your dog as if you don't get the right size it will not work!
