I ordered these to use for Memorial Day flowers. The past few years I've struggled with various types of containers to hold flowers. I've tried weighting them down with rocks or sand, using wire to try to hold them down but invariably, they get blown over by the wind. (The cemetery where my relatives are buried is a sun blasted plain so wind just whips through there toppling everything in its path.)This year, I thought I would try these containers. They are not too expensive and the stake at the bottom looks large enough to keep the containers from toppling over in the wind.These were fairly easy to assemble. The stake fits into a slot at the base of the vase and you turn the stake to lock it in place. There are also two small pegs that lock the stake down and you can hear the "click" when the stake is snapped into place.These vases are actually sturdier than they look. I used fresh flowers and none of the vases leaked. The stakes went into the ground easily (it had rained the night before) and stayed in place even in the wind. I'm very happy with these and will absolutely purchase more of them for my next visit.

I have no idea how these work for their intended use. However they are the perfect size and strength for use (without the spikes) as waterproof liners for the wood flower vases I turn on my lathe. I'm sure I'll find a use for the left over spikes as few things go to waste in my shop.

These vases are the perfect size for a nice bunch of either artificial or real flowers for gravesides. Also, the stake allows you to position it anywhere around the headstone. Just what I needed!

Vase was too small for vase I planned to insert it in. Guess vases vary by cemeteries. Wonderful customer service.

The vases came quickly. I'm using them for an outdoor wedding so the bride will have them on each side of her filled with flowers as she walks down the path to her groom. I spray painted them a beautiful violet color and they look perfect! I couldn't be more pleased!
