SingStar (Stand Alone) - Playstation 3

I hate karaoke so I didn't expect to enjoy this at all. Wow was I wrong! Probably the greatest thing for me was the ability to sing a song with out having to endure listening to a seemingly endless stream of talentless hacks (myself included) butchering songs until your turn comes up as in traditional karaoke bars. There arent many songs included on this disc but you can buy more from the SingStore are use any other SingStar branded discs, even PS2 discs. The PS2 SingStar 80's is a must buy in my opinion, 30 mostly fantastic songs for a little over a Lincoln here on Amazon. I have briefly played 2 player mode but haven't used the online function yet, mostly solo until I feel a little more confident. Make sure to set your TV to game mode if you have it and use the latency checker option in the menus. My latency halved and my scores almost doubled as a result. Fantastic game and feel silly for not getting into it years ago.

Wow talk about taking you back, this game is completely awesome. I really enjoy it when all of my family & friends come over & we just gather around & sing our little hearts out. I really love the fact that you can get more songs for it as well but the only downsize it that it doesn't have to many of the latest & greatest but overall I would recommend this to any & everyone who has a gathering of any kind & wanna have a good ol time!!!

Such a fun ps3 game, my family loves Singstar so we were very happy to find this game. Arrived quickly and played several times already. Play as a family or in a party situation

Bought this for my newlywed daughter and son-in-law for Christmas. They have a game night and someone brought these one night and they had a blast!! We all can't stop laughing (and trying to out-do each other)!! Only downside is you really need to purchase more songs(you do this through your PS3 account) and they are only good on the PS3 you purchase through so you have to take your game box with you if you want your songs :-) But this is still an awesome time with friends and family! 5 year old granddaughter loves it too.

Singstar plus a little vodka equals a whole night of fun for two or more people. I'm not a singer and neither are most of my friends, and everyone balks when they hear a suggestion for karaoke. However, I've never had anyone not want to come back for more Singstar after playing it. I'm a SingStore junkie, too. I have over one hundred tracks that I have purchased. You can't go wrong here if you want a party game that everyone can enjoy.

If you like singing, this is probably the best product you can get on the PS3--it has the real songs and videos, the scoring system is relatively good, and it's fun. As a party game it's great too--but held back by the song selection. While the game is great, the Singstore is far from impressive, especially when it comes to North American artists. Sony has been lethargic with regard to adding songs from the back catalog (there are a number of more popular songs in the PS3 discs), and the selection is much smaller than that of other regions like the UK. What makes this more frustrating is that Sony, already a few years in the PS3's life, is still making PS2 discs with new content, while the PS3 version stays stagnant, which is where it suffers as a party game--since a great of the songs are unknown (like Natalia, who has 5 songs)--a lot of people don't know the words, which makes the game less fun, especially with things like pass the mic. To make the game work at a party you need artists and songs that are more ubiquitous like Madonna or Michael Jackson, which you can get on the PS2 discs. If the PS2 discs didn't have more popular songs I'd give this game 5 stars, but the best Sony will do is a disc-swap, where you're stuck with songs you won't want, which is the opposite of the a-la-carte selection we are getting used to. Sony said they would update the store every two weeks, and, aside from the poor update selection (in the US), they often miss updates. If I didn't already own the game, I wouldn't bother buying it, as the Singstore is horrid, which is unfortunate because for the songs I do like, it's a great game. The other issue people seem to have is the wireless mic problem; while it would be nice I don't really play enough for this to be that big a deal.

The finest Karaoke video game on the market. Simple. 30 songs on disc and at time of writing close to 250 on the 'singstore' online. Music for everyone, fun to play, even better with friends/family. Online options allow you to post your own videos, watch others, buy/preview songs. Lots of fun.

I love singstar I own almost all of them so happy to have gotten this one new has some hits with the music was a little better picked but it's a fun game came clean n new with no scratches ♡♡♡ I love it

Product arrived on time and correctly. Had to return one item as it was bought duplicated and i had no issues doing that! Great!
