Amazing craftsmanship from Denmark! I’ve been using the nonstop junk from other brands for many years and I noticed the difference as soon as I took out the pot from the box. I will buy only Scanpan going forward!

Remarkable Product
I was a bit startled when my daughter called me 2 days after Christmas to say she needed information on how to return the pot I gave her for Christmas. I asked her what was wrong with it and she said absolutely nothing, she wanted to return it and get a bigger one! She is collecting one piece at a time. She highly recommends it!

ScanPan is the hands down best..
As a serious cook... ScanPan is the hands down best... especially the CTX series. Great on glass electric stove top and countertop induction portable unit. These pots and pans are beautifully crafted and when examined side by side with EVERY OTHER BRAND they are clearly worth the extra dough.Their non-stick surface is like new after heavy use for two years. I have 2qt, 4qt, 8" fry and 11' fry. I use a flat wooden spatula or silicone spatula.Never in dishwasher, and never use PAM. have not tried to fry without a drop or two of oil. This is one of the only non-stick pans that will actually allow you to sear meats, veggies to create a frond for sauces. Tip: I wipe with a paper towel when pan is still warm, before putting in the sink to wash. Always allow ANY PAN to cool before putting in cold sink. Although these guys are so sturdy, they probably would not warp!

SCANPAN, BEST IN THE KITCHEN
I have several pieces of Scanpan, and I've used them all.! I started cooking in the U.S. Army or I should say cleaning the pots and pans. I consider myself an expert in this phase of food preparation. After my tour of duty, some time in Alaska before statehood. My wife and I spent a fifty-two years of cook book studies, and cooking. We have used most of the "professional" tools for our enjoyment in the kitchen. Each new pot or pan fit our skills, and we have used most of them. Then we were introduced to Scanpan, with level heads and level ranges we became fortunate to be able to buy them and happily use them. Scanpan are the best and very likely will not find any better piece. From cooking to cleaning we trust Scanpan emphatically.

Love Scanpan - we are hooked!
Absolutely adore this brand - I purchased a large frypan for my husband last Christmas and he is *really* hard on pans (plus, we always wash them in the dishwasher too). Neither my husband or the dishwasher have harmed the frypan in the least - it washes up and cooks like a dream. It heats very evenly, requires no cooking spray, and nothing sticks - it's awesome! Plus, you don't get any unwanted chemicals leaching into your food from cooking spray or from the coating of the pan itself. So, when my mom needed a large saucepan, I knew what brand to get for her - she is an avid cook and she is thrilled with the quality of Scanpan too. They are pricey, but worth every penny!

First Scanpan
Now that my husband and I love to do so much more cooking at home, we decided to shop around for best tools. We needed a saucepan in the 2-3qt size, so we purchased this one. I read very mixed reviews about the scanpan fry pans, but we thought that a saucepan would be a safe bet. Also, we had some certificates/coupons so we didn't have to pay the full retail price for it.We like it; although it has a couple of idiosyncracies. First, it stays hot for a long time after removing from the stove...that took some getting used to. Second, the cover has 2 tiny vent holes that cannot be closed...so you are venting; like it or not! That can be a challenge for closed simmering for things like rice or oatmeal.All-in-all, it would be a good pan for about 1/3 of the retail price.

Scanpans are the BEST
This is another one of my favorite pans. Scanpan does such a great job making the pan!!

Very sturdy
This pan is very sturdy, and the handle stays cool throughout cooking. One or 2 minor niggles: the inside of the lid is slightly awkward to clean around the screws; and the bottom of my pan has developed some brown marks which are difficult to remove. However, I suspect that both of these problems would be solved by a dishwasher.

The best investment
The best pans ... well worth the price. Even heat conductors and the non stick is properly non stick. Worth the investment
