Why Choose MP2 weighted blanket? MP2 weighted blanket features a non-ceramic bead technology which makes it stand out from the rest in the market. This mainly contributes to the blanket's durability and comfort as well. The blanket has a 10 point weight distribution to ensure that its degree of comfort is completely unique. The materials which make this blanket are of exceptional quality implying that they will last for a long time. Other than that, they can be used by both hot and cold sleepers and still find a good night's sleep. What is in the package? One piece inner weighted blanket. One piece removable duvet cover. Tips: The cover is machine washable. The inner duvet can just be hand washed or spot cleaned. This is why it's important to use a duvet cover.

Worst purchase I’ve made in a long time
Get a weighted blanket, they said. The best sleep of your life, they said. You know those lead protective shields they put on you when you’re getting X-rays at the dentist? That’s exactly what it felt like to use this blanket. It didn’t feel like a secure hug, it felt suffocating.I’m a hot sleeper and can’t really turn the air down in my house too far at night because my elderly mother in law lives with us and she is very susceptible to cold, so the assurances that this blanket had a warm side and a cool side drew me in. I roasted every night I tried this blanket. I got the 15lb weight, which is correct for my size, so it wasn’t that it was the wrong weight for me.After the third night of taking forever to fall asleep and then waking repeatedly, I was done trying to make it work. Also, it had a chemically odor to it that bothered me immensely. I seemed to react to it with a tickly cough that wouldn’t go away until I pushed away the blanket.I really wanted this to work for me. My sleep is not good. I get very little deep sleep every night. I have taken all sorts of measures to try to fix that: darkening my room, closing my door so my dog and cats don’t wander in and out, turning off my phone at least 30 minutes before I’m going to bed. This was my next step, and it failed completely.Maybe I should have given it more time, but the miserableness of my third night of bad sleep in a row convinced me to just give up and send it back. Will I try another brand? Maybe. The reviews on this one were good. I just don’t know if I’ll try again or not. Thankful for an easy return process.

Love it!
I love the cozy tucked in feeling. I really do sleep better with it. My only issue is it's not easy to move around, especially if you have shoulder issues or weakness in your arms. But once you can get it over you....it's like being tucked in and I love the weight. I bought the 25lbs blanket. Oh and I do get hot sometimes....but, I think that's just my body....cuz that happened when I was using regular blankets as well.

Convinced me
I heard and read a lot of hype about these weighted blankets...I just had to try it for myself. Well now, I'm convinced this is a worthwhile product. A bit pricey, but I took a chance and it turned out well. The first week i used it, I slept exceptionally good. I doubt it was the "placebo" effect because I simply did toss and turn the first night. Typically, I do this quite a bit before settling in, and drifting off. immediately, it caused me to more easily fall asleep. Maybe there is something to the "swadiling" theory, but it worked. Also, a lot of the reviewers complained about the temperature, but i noticed no issues. On the colder winter nights, it was adequate on its own as the only blanket. A few spring nights were pretty warm, and it was equally comfortable and cool. Possibly the only thing that took some adjustment was the filling as it can shift around, but that's to be expected from the physical design. I do recommend you follow the suggestion for 10% of your body weight. That seems like its the correct proportion. I got the 15Lb size, and it worked for me since I'm a little over 150 lbs. Also, I would get the size just big enough to cover your body....measure the area on your bed if you have to. Too much extra weight and material might make it hard to comfortably move in and out, but its just a suggestion. For me, my money was well spent.

Haven't slept this well in years
My sleeping habits were terrible. I'd either wake up in the middle of the night and be awake for hours before falling back to sleep, or sleep until 3:30-4a and not get back to sleep. On one of those nights I put the TV on. There was an infomercial for weighted blankets; it stated it helps you sleep. I researched them later that day and then asked if friends and family used them; did they think the blankets help. With the number of positive reviews I received, I decided to buy one. I searched on Amazon based on the comments I received. Some said they like it but they are too hot. I found this one; reversible cover for temperature preference, removeable cover for cleaning (a must for me). Since using it, some nights I sleep straight through, which never happened before. Other nights I still wake up around 3-4a, but I fall right back to sleep. I sleep to my alarm and on weekends when no alarm is set, I sleep a little longer. There was no getting used to it, I started sleeping better from night one! It doesn't feel overly heavy, it actually feels comforting. It keeps me warm but isn't too hot. I live in an area of the country that has winter temps; I put the silky side down, fleece side up and I am warm; no other blanket or comforter is used while sleeping, just a sheet under the blanket. The only downside is tying the cover to the blanket after washing. It isn't a terrible process, just a little time consuming. I'm sure that will improve the more I do it. Several friends bought one after I told them how well I sleep now; theirs have not arrived yet or I would include their thoughts. I think it should called a magic blanket!!!!!

20 lb is heavy maybe go with 10?
I like this blanket but I no longer use the cover on it. I use The weighted blanket by itself because the cover gets caught up in the blanket and it doesn't lay flat. Keep in mind this is a very heavy at 20 lb, I kind of wished I would have went for something lighter? When this ends up at my feet it is extremely heavy to pull it back up. Just wanted to make you aware! Overall I think it's okay. I wished I would have looked around more for something more high-end. My issue is the cover I tied it to the blanket but it always slides out somehow and never lays totally flat and that is a bit irritating to me because I like my blankets to be flat and not bunched up.

Weight and Temp comfort
I bought two of these and we really like them. They temperature regulate by flipping one side or the other. One for warmer sleep and the other for cooler sleep. They really do affect the quality of sleep. My biggest complaint is that stuff inside tends to shift after one night of rest. I have to shake it back while making my bed in the morning. It's not a huge shift but it does shift. It makes it more full on one side of the bed vs the other. We have a queen size bed and it lies perfectly on it but doesn't hang down. It really helps my legs and feet lie still while sleeping. I like it.
