Bosch SHPM78Z55N 24" 800 Series Fully Integrated Pocket Handle Dishwasher with 16 Place Settings, Flexible 3rd Rack, InfoLight and CrystalDry (Stainless Steel)

I finally replaced a 10 year old Kenmore dishwasher that we had been limping along for 5 years with zip ties. The 800 series Bosch was easy to install and is the quietest dishwasher I have ever experienced. Inside delivery was great as expected from Electronic express. One of the best features is the food trap. Just twist a knob, pull it out and reverse rinse it out. Sure beats disassembling the dishwasher to clean out the trap or the pump filter. Genius.

This machine was installed by a plumber and an electrician and never worked. Electrician determined that the machine was receiving the electricity but still it was not lightening up. I called up a few installers, and they told me I need to find an installer for BOSCHE.It is idle as is.

Product is great. the only thing I disliked was none of the local business could order one and would not sell me the display model. They all stated that was the model they wanted but couldn't order one for themselves either. Took a while to arrive but definitely worth the wait.

Great place I bought it from, the delivery crew was fab, the installer I got was fab. It’s a beautiful machine but some of the spacing seems more European than American. Hard to fit in big coffee cups, tall wine glasses...but it does a beautiful job on the dishes...and it is totally quiet.

The third rack is perfect for plastic lids, most cooking utensils, and smaller items. As with all Bosch dishwashers it is super quiet. You need to put your ear next to the door to know it is running. I have been using this for nearly two months. It has dozens of options, most of what I do not normally need or use, but it is clear that whatever I might need it is there if I want. The stainless steel door needs very little to keep it clean and shiny. Simply polish with a towel. The handle position is perfect for keeping the front clean.

I finally got around to replacing the plastic cheapo GE dish washer in my house. Friends of mine had the 300 and 500 series of Bosch, and gave good reviews.Im not hurting for coin so i went ahead and bought the best. Im completely satisfied.The sound is so much quieter and the most important part, I can put the caked on, greasiest dishes ever in this thing and they come out sparkling.Also it gets my coffee cups clean! The terrible GE one I had required me to hand scrub.

This dishwasher is extremely... and I mean EXTREMELY sensitive to how you load it. If you so much as have an item that is a centimeter off (not visibly obstructing any of the sprays) the dishwasher will return a dreaded red blinking light.You'll be forced to reload the dishwasher again. And again. Of course the dishwasher returns no visible guidance about *how* it's misloaded. You can be the most attentive loader and still suffer the dreaded red light.Two or three nights a week we have a total exercise in frustration, as that's how often the dishwasher reports a misload. We've had misloads triggered when we've loaded the dishwasher with 6 items.I would never recommend this product.

My dishwasher stopped working 7 months after I bought it. It took two weeks for a technician to come out, he told me it was fixed but it was not. I had to wait another two weeks for him to return. I now have to wait another two weeks for a replacement part. Six weeks without a dishwasher is disappointing. I ordered Bosch because I thought they were top of line with an excellent reputation. I am very disappointed and will not purchase another Bosch product.
