I needed to replace an old Luminox watch, but I didn't want the new one to cost an arm and a leg. This watch (and others) turned up as a result of a search on sub-$150 tritium watches. I chose this one for its good reviews and size (it doesn't look HUGE on my wrist!). I also liked that I wouldn't have to wait three weeks for it to arrive. It was delivered as quickly as any other Prime item. The watch appears to be of really nice quality, and its heft, while seeming to reflect the quality, isn't at all distracting or burdensome. It's keeping perfect time, and of course the tritium dial really does stand out in the dark. A nice added touch is that the glow on the "12" is a soft orange, as opposed to the green of the other indicators.Yes, you'd likely find, as I did, that the band "operates" unlike any other watch band you've encountered! That said, I'm getting used to how it works, and I'm glad I'm no longer interested in getting a different one. After all, this one was made to complement the watch, and it's actually very comfortable -- not too loose and not too tight.I'm very pleased with this watch. I believe its size and style allow it to fit into any situation, dress or casual.

I love the band and how it works
Bought this as a gift for my father, here is what he had to say when I asked him about how he is liking the watch: "Actually, I love the band and how it works. I like how it fits on my wrist (comfortable), easy to setup and nice business or dress looks. Like the lighted time markers, makes it easier to read in not so bright light. The hour markers on watch just,a little loose. Other than that build is a 7 out of 10"

Bright display
With only 1 day of ownership it is a tough review to write. Initially, thought the display was dim and was ready to return it. However, at midnight the dial and hands came to life. The tritium is quite bright! A year or so will tell if this is an acceptable watch. In the past 4 years I have owned 3 Smith and Wesson tritium watches. They have all quit working for various reasons.

You may receive one with very dim blue tubes
I've received two of these watches and had to return them both cause they came with blue tubes which are very weak. The pictures show two different watches and also show green tritium tubes. One reviewer mentioned he received green tubes so I was expecting green tubes.

Seems alright. But......UPDATED: Date is off, every 2 days.
Lighting works well. Band virtually unuseable. Plan on buying a REAL band, along with your purchase.Stock band is a 3-handed proposition, not worth the effort.Had it for months now. Tritium is fine, but DATE is constantly off. Revising review down.It keeps time fine. If you opt for CHEAPO Tritium, this is the one.

Very bright
Works great! I bought this because my eyesight isn't very good and I can't see what time it is on my clock without putting on my glasses. Regular watches with luminous time drop off in brightness quickly and are hard to read after 1 AM or so. The tritium light in this watch is very bright. I have no problem reading the time any time I wake up. Price is reasonable too.

Easy to read in the dark.
I finally had to find a You Tube video to learn how to use the watch band on this watch, and I would much prefer that it had a different band. My husband, who has some flexibility issues has trouble getting it back on when he has taken it off - even knowing how the band works. A sturdy nylon one with a buckle would work nicely. But I love the large easy-to-read dial that is also easy to see at night. For the price it is hard to beat this watch.

Not Bright Enough for Me
I could not see the dial face in the dark. I could not tell what time it was in the dark. The tritium tubes are too weak to be useful TO ME. Maybe light sensitivity by owner would make a difference. Otherwise, the watch appears to be nicely made and has a great band. Handsome watch.
