Easy to install and look really good on the boat. I mounted these on a pontoon boat. I suggest mounting them as high as you can on the boat so there isn't a shadow on the water from the bow of the boat deck

I bought these lights to replace my old corroded halogen lights. I’m rarely disappointed in a purchase but sure am with these lights. When they arrived I hooked them up to a extra battery we had on a work bench and they seemed not to put out much light but were nicely made chrome was smooth and shiny so I kept them and eventually put them on as the boat was a project boat and it was some months before it was done and on the water. Took it out at dusk on a cruise and turned them on as it got darker, I could hardly see the water in front of the boat and I thought it was because the lights were aimed too high. By the time we got back to our dock it was completely dark and I was really disappointed how poorly they lit up the docking area. Since then have been out at night several times and same thing, they actually put out less light than my old halogen lights (I think they were 5 watt). It’s well past the refund date I wished I’d had a way to check them out earlier and send them back for a refund. Wasted my money!

I was looking for replacement docking lights for the old, yellowing halogen lights on my 2001 Rinker Floatilla. These are flush mount, but fit perfectly. Very easy to install and very bright without getting hot. Just wish I would have spent a little extra and got the 2000 lumens. These are definitely for docking only
