The Complete Book of Yiquan

Excellent exposition of Yiquan. Clear descriptions, lots of pictures, clear and simple descriptions of postures. This book provides several pathways into practice depending on where you want to start, and your interest. Pick one. It can be used as a practical practice manual or simply a good overview of Yiquan. I recommend it to anyone practicing traditional Chinese martial arts.

This book looks very good. I scanned through it and can tell I'll be able to complement it with other trainings that I do. I like all of the history behind this system and the apparent clear explanations. I started reading it and am looking forward to getting into the exercises. It's not a book to read fast.You need to process the information and put it into practice.

The book detailed a lot of information, exercises and even progressive schedules. Probably the best book I have seen on Yi Quan. I would like to see a volume 2!

If you have a basic understanding of Zhan Zhuang you will love this book! But even if you don't this book can be extremely helpful in your inner journey. it has plenty of stories and history of Yiquan, all of them very inspiring! I am not a practitioner of Yiquan but I am an experienced Taichi player and I practice Zhan Zhuang everyday and this book had A LOT to offer. Get it!

Amazing book!! Being a Tai chi practitioner, this book comes very handy. out of all the martial art books I own, this is the best. It should be on every martial artist book shelf. The book is well worth the price, and have tons and tons of info and background stories to Yiquan and other internal martial arts. I read this book every day before I train. Don't miss out on this precious gem!!!

Incredible and rich in content, it's going to take a long time to absorb everything in this book and I'm taking my time; I am sipping it rather than gulping it and well worth every bit!! Highly recommend!!

This is a very good book overall. I like all of the history behind Yi Quan!

I bought this just prior to signing up for an online Yi Chuan course with Ken Cohen a teacher I was particularly keen to study with. An excellent zoom course and this book turned out to be one of the much recommended extras in the course notes. I am now on part 2 of the course and still reading this book. I am not really sure that this would be entirely suitable for complete beginners to Yi Chuan but an excellent study aid for anyone with a good teacher. A very timely purchase

Non è un testo completo , ma sicuramente è il testo di yiquan più denso di informazioni che io abbia mai letto.interessante e scritto molto bene.l' ho acquistato per approfondire l ' argomento zhan zhuang, una pratica che già conosco e pratico, e l' ho trovato molto utile.
