Philips HTL1510B/05 2.1 Channel Wall Mountable 70W Wireless Sound Barwith Sub Woofer

I received the sound bar and set it up, used it for about 2/3 minutes, it was working so great, then didn't really use it for a few weeks, when I started to use it, it was fine for about 5/10 minutes then the sound from the bar keeps dropping out ant the top of the sound bar was getting very hot, bought a new optical cable to see if that was the issue but nope still the same, even when playing sound through my phone, seller advised me to contact Philips, they said it was down to the seller to sort, in the end got in touch with amazon and got a refund and had to dispose of the sound bar myself, so looks like im now going to have to buy a new one, definitely not this one.

Faulty, after only 20 minutes of use the amplifier in the sound bar started cycling on and off due to the amount of heat it was producing, I literally couldn't bare my hand on it!I sent the product back at my own expense as per the vendors returns policy, which also states that they will refund the postage upon receipt and testing. Its been over a month and whilst I have had a refund for the product, the postage has not been refunded.I'm a qualified electrician and my brother is an electronics design engineer so trust me when I say I know the product was faulty and not user error.Not happy, this is not amazon's fault, and I will never be buying from this vendor again.

Upon receipt, the sound bar looks good and is a great size.The one problem we had was that the bluetooth subwoofer kept dropping from the bar every few seconds leaving patchy sound. I followed the philips online tech solutions to try and reposition bar and woofer with no avail. Tried the bar with bluetooth music, through an aux lead and optical lead and no changes so opted to return the sound bar.Be wary of this seller as they sent a postage unpaid return label and we just paid £25.00 postage to return it signed for as the label instructs.All in all, my worst ever amazon purchase and seller.

Please avoid this product if you can!I purchased this along with an Ambilight Philips flat screen.Firstly you need to then buy an optical connection cable as extra, secondly the instructions are not clear, thirdly, the sound is appalling hissing, crackling and continuously disconnecting from TV.To top it all off the seller does not supply any form of returns labels or postage. so in order to return a substandard item I will be £10 out of pocket for postage - AVOID!

Worst item I have ever bought sound quality is bad the sound fades or it just uses the subwoofer wouldnt recommend this item to anyone

A good sound bar for the price obviously much more expensive models out there but I couldn't justify two hundred quid for the occasional use I intended. I've connected via optical cable and the sound is great for movies to get that extra oomph. The Bluetooth is good also but alas my TV doesn't have but works good for phone and music. Woofer is good but subtle. Only negative is the controller is a bit limited and doesn't offer much help. You can connect via HDMI ARC if your TV supports. Tested this and it's much more convenient. Overall a good cheap soundbar.
