The Pro-V Quenching shot treatment helped to add moisture and shine to my hair and helped to eliminate frizz without making my hair feel greasy or weighed down. I appreciate that the product is sulfate, paraben, and mineral oil-free. I have had a positive experience with the product so far, and it has helped to improve the health and appearance of my hair.

Love the way this hydrates the hair. I have dark hair with platinum blond highlights. I have to color frequently. This product enables me to do so. Without it my hair would be fried. Instead it is soft and hydrated.

My oh my, I am so in love with this product. I have tried SO MANY THINGS to try to get the frizz out of my hair and this finally, gloriously, is it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My hair feels silky, smooth, doesn’t have any flyaways or frizz and just generally looks better than it ever has.Here’s what I did:Yesterday I used Pantene clarifying shampoo and conditioner to get rid of any excess dirt, grease, or buildup. Tonight I used blondie shampoo and conditioner and then followed it up with about 3/4 of an ampoule of this Pro-V Quenching shot on the ends of my hair only (not the scalp). After letting it sit for about 4-5 minutes, I rinsed it out, towel dried my hair, applied a bit of product to my hair (its a straightening lotion) and combed through it. Then sprayed some HSI argon oil heat protectant spray throughout my hair and used a Hot Tools One Step Hair Dryer and Volumizing Brush (it’s a hair dryer with a brush built in). I still can’t believe how good my hair looks, feels, and smells, and darn, I’m heading to bed to ruin it.I do recommend that you just do start at the tops of your hair and work upward when applying this. I wouldn’t go more than about half-way up because you don’t want to have to clean this out of your scalp… it probably will feel greasy. If you stick to that, you might not need the whole tube, and that’s ok.Most days my hair is a frizzy mess. I’ve had dyed my hair for so long because I began going gray in my 20s. My hair isn’t a huge fan of what the blonde bleaching does to it and let me say that I have tried so many different masks, creams, and other products to help get some of the healthiness back. This quenching shot is the only thing that has added moisture and shine and a complete lack of frizz to my hair without making It feel greasy or weighed down.Honestly I wouldn’t care how much these tubes cost, they are now going to be permanently on my monthly Amazon order.I also like that this is sulfate, parabens, and mineral oil free. I don’t give very many 5-star reviews - it has to be something I’m totally gaga over for me to give a 5 star, but this product has earned it. </gush>

When I went to use it and saw that you apply this AFTER shampoo and conditioner, I was a little worried that it would leave my hair feeling heavy or weighed down, but it didn’t. My hair is just above shoulder length with tons of layers and I can actually get about 3 uses per tube. It smells the same to me as other Pantene hair products. Makes my hair feel soft and silky. 👍🏻

I really like this Pantene Sunlit Blonde “intensive quenching shot”. Honestly, my hair always seems to be “thirsty”, especially right after coloring my hair with a high lift blonde using both 30 and 40 volume peroxides. I felt like I have done so many things to hydrate my hair and nothing seems to hydrate it to the level I need. On top of that, it ends up being frizzy.The instructions on the box don’t say how long to leave it in, but I left it in for 3-4 minutes. One ampoule was good for two uses and I had a tad bit left over, which I could combine with the next ampoule. Usually any product that says that it’s for blondes or platinums, I anticipate that the product will be some tone of purple.That said, the package doesn’t say it is a “toning” product, but it does say “sunlit blonde”, which means that the product is probably a pearly color – and that’s exactly what it is! Unfortunately, I don’t feel like the pearly essence was captured with my camera.These “shots” contain panthenol, which is great. These hydrating shots also contain biotin and silk extracts. I think what fascinates me about this product is that I can use just about one-half an ampoule for about 4 minutes once or twice per week, and my hair feels amazing. What I didn’t anticipate was that the following day when I washed my hair, I could feel the silkiness in my hair even before applying shampoo. This has never happened with any product I have ever used.I have absolutely become a fan of this product! I believe that I have found a product that completely quenches my thirsty hair and doesn’t leave it frizzy or weigh it down. I will be back for more!

I have heat styled my hair for years and am always looking for treatments to hydrate my hair. I liked that these are separate treatments and can be saved for later. I really liked the fragrance and the initial texture. I left in on for quite awhile. After rinsing and air drying, I didn't notice a difference in my hair. I know it deposited some hydrating oils, so I'm not totally disappointed but I wouldn't purchase this in the future.

I've been using little conditioning shots like this from another brand, and I wanted to give these a try. I have bleach blonde hair with much of it turning platinum, so I need a lot of extra moisture. I actually used this after I did a massive purple shampoo leave-in treatment which leaves my hair incredibly dry and I have to do a deep conditioning treatment after. I used this and I was blown away how moisturizing it was. It reminds me of the conditioners they put into box dyes, and my hair felt so good well I left it in for a few minutes and after. It is pretty thick, and I comb it through with a thick comb that I leave in my shower that I use to distribute my conditioner. I'm so impressed with this I would actually order again which I don't do very often with hair products I was wanting to try the next best thing. I do recommend.
