Sony Ericsson Stereo Portable Handsfree HPM-70

These headphones come are a great addition to your Sony Ericsson cell phone. The sound qualitly is pretty good, but the different length headphones realy gets annoying. These to have a clip so you can succure the headphones to your shirt or what ever. Another great feature is you can use any set of headphones with them or a headphone jack addaptor to play on your car sterio ( That is what I do while driving around town). This product is very universal and you can even use the radio feture on most Sony Ericsson phones too. I always cary these headphone with me so I can listen to the music on my phone any were I go.

I noticed a few reviews stating the sound was good but it's quite the opposite. The sound is muffled and you have increase the volume level to the max to even hear it. I used these headphones with my new sony ericsson w350. Though the sound is aweful, the functionality and dirt cheap price makes up for it. It's your basic handsfree one button headphones but the good part is it allows you to replace the headphones with any others as there is a jack at the end of the hands free. I have a seperate set of sony earbuds that sound amazing and used them on the handsfree. The sound quality jumped and allowed me to continue using hte hands free feature. The only draw back is it left a ton of wiring all over the place as my earbuds have a long cord to begin with and the hands free is almost as long. That was a big draw back but I dont fault these phones. I was extremely satisfied with this purchase despite the drawbacks and you just cant beat the price.VERY IMPORTANT: For those of you that care for looks, these phones did not come in silver as indicated in the 1st picture above. They came in black as in the second picture. I prefer black so Im okay with it but if your looking for silver, you will be dissapointed.

I've had it for 2 months now with my w760 on at&t:I would rate this differently if there was a better product, but Sony tends to latch on to their proprietary plugs and cords. My main gripe is the answer call/multipurpose button on the cord which gets bumped fairly easily prompting voice commands or answering an inconveniently timed phone call. The plug is large, like the charger, but unlike the charger this goes in your pocket and can get snagged on the fabric on the way out of the pocket (especially in workout attire!)All these gripes are meaningless because if you need it, you have to have it and it only comes in this shape. The headphones are alright, they come with several sizes of ear plungers to adapt to the user. I just prefer to plug in my own comfy pair, but that creates a LOT of slack on the line. Not the best hands free solution, but at least you can use your phone as an FM radio... Huzzah...

I have a Sony Ericson Walkman cellphone and I couldn't be more happy with these headphones. The bass is beautiful sounding (I personally LOVE bass). It's also nice because if you happen to not like the headphones provided, you can plug different headphones into the microphone peice and use those instead. However, I think the headphones were really good quality and the microphone works well too. It's no blue tooth but it's good for what it is. An excellent buy for anyone who wants to use their Walkman cellphone as an MP3 player and a headset!

I bought this to replace the one I lost. This is the original brand, not a generic. The sound is excellent and the hands-free feature works very well (I use it in the car). As others have written, I wish the cord were much shorter. The cord to one ear is long and the one to the other ear is extra-long, which make them unwieldy. I would have also preferred that the cords to both ears be of equal length. But given the excellent sound, I see no reason to change to another brand.

The right side was working perfectly, clear and loud. Meanwhile, the left side was damaged, no sound. So I sent it back explaining why and if they could exchange it. Which thankfully they did. But the second time around the product was worse. For some reason I couldn't even hear a thing while listening to my Walkman, let along talking to someone on the phone with the headphones. It was foggy and distant, that's the only way I could think of to explain it best. I thought it was my phone. So I tried adjusting some of the settings. But that didn't help. The product was defective TWICE in a row! Was a waste of 5 dollars, which I could have used to pay for bridge toll or a a cup of coffee with a bagel! I didn't even bother to return it back again.

Either these type of headphones have come a long way since I last purchased a set.. or I got ripped off when I purchased my Audio-Technica set 3 years ago. Because the A.T.'s were $125 at the time.... & I think these sound better. I got these with the purchase of my Sony Walkman 580i, & I quickly purchased a back-up set for the whopping price of $5.98 + shipping. The only thing I find a little bothersome is that when you are walking briskly , you actually hear wind whirring... because the buds are so sensitive. This may be because I always get a complete seal, in an attempt to block out as much background noise as possible, & to acheive this & I actually invert the buds leaving the post sticking straight up. But,it's nothing a little more volume can't cure. I also like the fact that the wires are so light, that the cord doesn't constantly pull down, which can make simply turning your head a pain. All in all, you can't beat these for the price.

Great replacement in retail packaging. Volume is better than the old pair i had. Nice silver color instead of the black ones that came with my W810i. Great headphones and handless phone device. I'd rather use these than a fancy $80 blue tooth device that only goes in one ear, thus doesn't block out sound when your having a conversation. Can't beat the price and utility of these headphones. Good job Sony for a good product, and good job to Amazon for selling at a great value!
