Typical Birkenstock Boston
I haven't owned the leather Boston clog until this pair, but have had 2 pairs of the suede Boston clog. As is typical Birkenstock fashion, they are really stiff, and slightly uncomfortable for about a week, but then the break in to become one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I've ever worn. The leather clog is no exception. So far, I've really enjoyed the way the leather has worn. I love the discoloration and texture the suede Boston clog picks up over time - it really adds to the character of the shoe. Already, the leather upper has picked up some nice marks and coloration. Love these shoes!

Would Recommend any time
It fits as expected! I’ve owned 4 pairs already. They’re a liiiiiitle bit too wide for me, but they’re just fine honestly is super comfy for work with any kind of socks.I think the narrow kind might be better for people with really really skinny feet, so just expect them to be looseish.Totally worth the money. The oiled color is super nice.As the photo shows, they are an European size 37 for the 6-6 1/2 US sizing.

Finally a comfortable shoe I can wear to work!
5 YEAR UPDATE: I'm still wearing these shoes daily to work and running errand. I'm on my third set of footbeds thanks to my local Birkenstock repair center (new cork footbed and soles run about $70-80). I'm pretty hard on shoes, and these take quite the beating and keep going. I totally love them! The photo was taken just after my third footbed (the tops are squished in the photo, but they still hold the shape).Original Review: These shoes are wonderful because they meet all the requirements for my workplace dress code and they are comfortable. An added bonus for me is our local shoe store is an authorized Birkenstock repair shop. That means this clogs will last for forever! If you're thinking of purchasing these, keep these things in mind:- Birkenstocks require a longer break in period than other shoes. They soften over time and become custom fit to your foot.- These are NOT for wandering through puddles. The cork at the back is sealed, but the sealant will need refreshing occasionally. I purchased a small bottle of cork glue from my local dealer and make sure to treat the cork occasionally.- The sole does have latex in it, however, the footbed (the part your feet will come in contact with) is leather. This was an initial concern for me as I'm allergic to latex. I haven't had a single reaction to these shoes, so no worries. :)These shoes are pretty much like a dream come true! Birkenstock for me marries function and comfort. Perhaps they aren't the most fashionable, but an extra long slack means that my boss is none the wiser and I don't get lectured about how I live in hippie sandals.

Returned
These shoes had glue all on the sides. I could not even put my foot all the way inside because of the glue. I immediately returned them. I have had several Birky’s and never seen this. Did not feel authentic at all. I only went with this option because of the unique color. Big mistake!

Comfort?
I’ve been wearing these off and on for the past few weeks, with socks. They hurt my feet when I first put them on, but after a couple of minutes, they’re fine. Just not so sure when this “the most comfortable shoe” part will kick in?

I LOVE BIRKENSTOCK SANDALS/CLOGS
I would recommend this to everyone. I see a lot of negative comments but this is b/c people are not doing their homework. If the clog/sandal has yellow writing on the insole, then it is a REGULAR FOOT BED Birkenstock. If the clog/sandal has blue writing on the insole, then it is a Soft FOOT BED, Birkenstock. All you have to do is call up the company and they will help you out, people!!!As for this clog, not only was it on sale, but after I used the 20% off Amazon.com shoe promo code I only paid $ 63.22 and this retails for about $130 on Birkenstock's main web page. I saved over 50% on a GREAT SANDAL.I would recommend this to anyone who like a quality sandal that just molds to your feet.I LOVE AND ONLY WEAR BIRKENSTOCK SANDALS, NO OTHER BRAND PERIOD.

Nice shoe but not a good fit
This is such a pretty shoe. Exactly what I want for skirts and nice pants. Good quality leather upper. And I love the wedge heel. The size I ordered (8) was a bit smaller than my usual (8 1/2 or 9), even a narrow width and my feet are slightly on the wide side. I thought surely they would fit based on other reviews saying the upper is a bit loose. Well, they were a good fit for the length but had a very loose leather upper. I’m so disappointed because I really like this shoe. I’ve returned it with no problem at all. My search for that perfect shoe continues.
