Still works well after a year
Works as advertised, so purchased more. Has stayed stuck on a tile floor in wet environment for over a year with no issues.

3M Quality!
I'm in the sign business, and we use a lot of 3M films and adhesives. Their product is always top notch, and this is no exception. Never the cheapest, but always great quality and science in every product they sell. I have an acrylic shower pan at home that is VERY slippery when wet, especially when soap is present. I'm 69 years old, and though I have always been very cautious in the shower and have never fallen, I've had a few slips, so I decided it was time to get some non-skid strips installed.I bought the 2" wide strips and spaced them 2" apart from edge-to-edge, and it works perfectly. I can't make myself slip now. The material is quite thick, with a VERY forgiving and removable adhesive. If you don't get it down just right the first time, you can easily pull it up and reposition it, which is an amazing feature. Just follow the instructions, make sure your surface is very clean, and you will have the best possible non-slip surface you can achieve with an adhesive film like this. The surface is textured, of course, but it is the perfect combination of grip and comfort. It does not scratch your feet, so you hardly know it's there, but it provides a perfect non-slip surface. You will not regret paying for 3M quality!

Fantastic
This stuff is great. I will purchase again any time it is needed.Clean and dry the tub first as per instructions. Application is easy and one roll will do one standard size bath tub. I got 8 strips across the width of the tub out of a roll. The safety and security is unparalleled when compared to suction cup products. The feel is unobtrusive and not "gritty" at all even though the traction provided is superb. I've had it installed for one month now and zero signs of peeling. Cleans easy and doesn't seem to collect water or soap residue at all. It makes an amazing difference. Try it, you'll like it.UPDATE:Originally reviewed 08/28/18 - updated 10/21/19After more than a year there is no peeling or separation at all. Grip/traction is still excellent. You don't really "feel" the strips, but they provide outstanding security while standing in the shower. No slips in this household. The product cleans well when doing your tub scrubbing. LASTING VALUE.

Work well but chemical smell remains 3 weeks later
It took a little bit of time and effort to cut appropriate size strips with rounded edges as the instructions suggest, and then to install. Product does make me more confident in the shower stall which had an extremely slick bottom, and all strips have adhered well. (Thanks to someone else who posted a picture of their approach to a pattern which I copied). I went with the 2-in wide version and would suggest that width for shower applications.I'm generally satisfied with the purchase although a bad, persistent chemical smell endures. I'd read about shower mats having bad toxic smells and was hoping this product would allow me to avoid that issue, but I still notice the unpleasant aroma 3 weeks after installing. I even tried leaving baking soda on the strips overnight without much improvement. The smell is not as strong as the first week, but it's still there... if you are sensitive to smells be aware that this product does emanate some chemical odor. However, considering that a mat will get grime, gunk, and hair stuck underneath in the suction cups thus requiring cleaning every so often, these by contrast are maintenance-free once installed. Nothing sticks to the surface of the strips in my experience.

Great quality and easy to use.
This tape is extremely easy to apply. The adhesive is so good!!!! I bought other brand before and they didn’t last even a month after they got wet. I got this tape two months ago for my elderly mom to put in her shower and it has been perfect. This tape is thicker than other brands, they adhere so good, it’s really good price and they are really clear so my granite shower doesn’t look ugly.

Tub mat wouldn't stay in place. This fixed the problem. Excellent product!
My old tub had a lot of pits and scratches and rust spots from years of scrubbing and age. Unfortunately, this made every type of suction-cup tub mat slide around and wrinkle up. After doing a lot of research, I found this product and ordered it. It works great. For installation, I also recommend a wallpaper seam roller of some sort and a small razor blade or box cutter. (Pictured below with the plain wooden handle is the "Warner 222 Plastic Flat Seam Roller with Double Bracket, 1-Inch Wide" for about $13 and the one with the red and black handle is the "MARSHALLTOWN The Premier Line E54D 2-Inch Flat Commercial Grade Solid Rubber Seam Roller with DuraSoft Handle" for about $21. Both of these and many others are available on Amazon as well.)For my pattern, I cut the entire roll into 18" strips. Then I cut three of the 18" strips in half. This made seven 18" strips and six 9" strips. After scouring the tub with Comet and drying it really well with a fan, I began. First, I wiped the tub with rubbing alcohol and let it dry again. Second, I cut the strips and rounded the ends. Third, I laid all of the pieces down with the backing still on until I found a pattern I liked. (see finished photo for pattern I chose). Fourth, peeling the backing off of each piece, I carefully stuck each down. Fifth, I went on an epic three-hour journey to Home Depot and Menard's in search of something that would roll the strips down. (frustrating!) Anyway, I found what I needed and finished rolling them down, starting from the center and working my way to the edges. (This is where the razor blade came in. Sometimes bubbles formed and I carefully slit them and rolled them flat) Voila! I'm done and the strips work great. My tub is much safer now. Please note:These are clear, so the scratches and small rust spots can be seen through the strips. (again, see photo) I'm okay with that, though, and am glad to just be able to shower safely.
