Very nice, appears to be quite well built. Had a quick question and called the number on the invoice and was pleased to realize these are all hand built and I was speaking to the craftsman himself. Very polite and concerned about the happiness of his customers.The solid tube can easily be removed to help cleaning, there is also a plug on the floor of the feeder that can be removed to allow old seed to be dumped out the bottom.Looks wonderful and the birds love it. Very well priced compared to others in this size/class/quality.Builder recomended stain or seal to help extend life and I may add some color to parts at some point but it looks great right out of the box.

This is a really nice, really big feeder. It is well made and a great design. Easy to install on a 4X4 post. I’d say well worth the money. Even though it was packed very well, mine suffered some damage in shipping. I was able to glue it, no biggie. Not sure what could be done to prevent it. Aside from that, it was a flawless transaction. Would buy again.

This is the most well made bird feeder. I have a lot of bird feeders and the wooden ones are the best. My father died in 2002 and he had always made my bird feeders and houses. I have not been able to find a good, well made, sturdy bird feeder since. This is also a very beautiful feeder that really enhances any area you choose to put in. Mine is mounted on the end post of the deck. It looks like it was made for that space. The chickadees are liking it because it’s close to a big tree, so they are just getting used to it being there. This feeder is more expensive than any other I have bought. I was afraid it wouldn’t be worth it but once it got here, it was truly a masterpiece. Even my handyman husband was really impressed. My Dad would have been impressed with this item from BCH Woodcrafters as well.

This is a gorgeous and excellently built bird feeder. I highly recommend this as an ornamental bird feeder. My wife saw it and said it's too beautiful to put it outside. The seller even took the time to include a brief handwritten note wishing us all the best with our purchase and the holidays. My only complaint is that the seller forgot to put in the wood screws for mounting the bird feeder on a post. I emailed him, and within an hour, I received an apology and a phone number to call so he could send me the wood screws. He also listed the sizes I would need so I can get them myself if I wish to. This looks like it is handmade with the craftsmanship and details that are missing in mass-market bird feeders. If you are on the fence about buying this bird feeder, do it; you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely beatifully-made birdfeeder!! I searched high and low to find this gift for my mom's 85th Birthday in August. It is gorgeous...cedar, size is wowza, detailing exquisite...and the price is right!!! Not to mention the shipping was free and packed oh so perfectly!!!! Communication was right on too...the owner emailed me an update on my arrival date. Top Notch

Had this birdhouse for over a month now. It is awesome, well worth the money! Great customer service!! Highly recommend if you are wanting a good size bird feeder that looks great from the curb!! Birds go crazy for the seed all during the day and several stand in it at same time due to its size and design!

I bought this for my mother to replace a 30-year old one that was severely deteriorated. This one is exactly the look she wanted. She does not use it to feed the birds, just as a decorative accent on a tall post in her yard. This one was easy to install on the same post and it looks great.

I am so pleased with the quality and workmanship of this bird feeder. It is just lovely and I cannot wait to give it to my husband for Father’s Day. We purchased a similar one many years ago that needs to be replaced and have been looking for quite a while - I was delighted to find this craftsman on Amazon! The hand written note on the receipt was especially thoughtful.
