This set of 12 different colour threads is of proper waxed thread of heavy thickness, tough and nicely waxed. It is ideal for leather work and the different shades will be suitable for many applications. At just over a pound per reel of about 100 ft each I regard it as excellent value and despatch was very rapid.

Brilliant!
I'm using this thread for bookbinding and it is brilliant. It is a sturdy thread a d holds the pages firmly without being heavy in the fold of the paper. I think it is superb value for money & would not hesitate to recommend both the seller for prompt delivery and the thread for being good quality.

Gunky
There is a lot of wax on these threads making them gunky and difficult to work with. The colours don't really show through properly on the leather after sewing as there is just too much wax on them.

Ho comprato questo set di fili per rilegare grossi libri. Questi fili permettono di poter lavorare senza i costanti grovigli che normalmente si formerebbero e, quando si forma accidentalmente un piccolo nodo, basta scuotere il filo per scioglierlo immediatamente. Consigliatissimo per questo tipo di lavoro!!!

Super Garn.Sehr robust und die "Leder" Farben sind schön und treffend. Hab es verwendet um Knöpfe in eine Baumwohlauflage zu ziehen bzw. einen "French Matress" Look zu erzeugen. Da ist nichts gerissen.Wenn mir die Menge nicht eh reichen würden bis zum Ende meiner Tage..dann würd ich das nachbestellen ;)
