Description not helpful
Not able to tell all dimensions from Amazon description. Item was in fine condition. Just would not fit.

Measurements not as represented
I purchased this months ago. It seemed overly tight by 1/4-1/2 inches on the widths ordered. I struggled putting it on the light fixture and did not return it to Amazon because I feared I would break it. Soon after the light itself begin going off then on when the power was on. Turns out this was because the item was so tight it was crimping the fluorescent bulbs and vibration in the laundry room caused the light to fail. We put up with this for a few months and I finally removed this cover. The light works fine but I need a now light cover. It is my opinion that the manufacturer may have poor quality control. I will buy a replacement.

Perfect fit
Broke the one installed by the builder. Was not sure this would match but it was perfect and easy to install. We have about 5 of these in closets and garage so knowing they are available if another breaks is great.

Well-Packaged & Easier to Install
Product was accurate to description and a perfect fit. Though it was 3 days late (don't know whose fault that was - probably the shipping company), it arrived well-packaged and not damaged at all. These covers are always hard to install but this one was a little easier than the original was. I broke the original while trying to put it back on after replacing the bulbs. These covers are hard to find in local stores so I'm thankful I found it on Amazon.

Lithonia Lighting DSB48 48 in. Square Basket Covers
I purchased these covers to fit 9" wide 2-bulb florescent fixtures. They were too narrow to pull over the lips of the fixture without breaking. When I measured them, they were 8 1/4" across, almost a whole 1/2" shy of the normal size to allow installation. So, I returned then only to find out the Seller charges more than 50% restocking fee. Needless to say, I cannot afford to purchase from this Seller again and I couldn't recommend them to my friends either.
