These lights are fun and beautiful. I hung them in my screened-in porch for a party. I'd wanted to hang from trees but it was raining. They resemble little firework explosions. This was exactly what I wanted, so I have given them 5 stars. You do have to buy 4 batteries for each light, which adds to the cost so they are pricier than they appear, and you have to shape them individually, which takes some time. One remote will work on all lights, but they include 6 remotes for some reason.

I hung six of these lights up high in our outside entry way. They are about ten feet high. I received six lights along with six remotes. I read the reviews that you needed a remote per light. That is not true. One remote turned on all six of these lights and changes the output as needed. I like number 8 which keeps all of the lights on. They look very pretty.

These lights are very cool. Look great and work on a 6 hour timer. The issue is they are battery operated on 6volts, which is 4 AA batteries each. They last about 7 days, so if you plan to use them from Thanksgiving to Christmas, you will need about 84 AA batteries or a lot of rechargeables... I may convert mine to AC. It will take some work and I will have to buy a power converter but it will save me a grip on batteries next year.
