The package came with NO instructions whatsoever, but I was able to install the battery and it works well. Caution: (1) Remove any microSD card (and the SIM card if yours is 3G model) before you try to open your device. If you don't, there is a very good chance you destroy the microSD card in the course of pricing open the device with the plastic tool. (2) The process of disconnecting the battery cable connector from the board is not what it seems: You would think you need to slide it out but in fact, the connector needs to be carefully LIFTED.

Battery did not fit my Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0. Very disappointed, since the information on my original battery match the one in the description for this one. Doesn't not fit properly at all. I had to leave 3 screws out to get it in, and even then it still didn't work. Came with no instructions as to what the tools were for or how to use the correctly, poorly packaged (it literally came in bubble wrap, not a box or anything to fully secure the product. And I dropped all the tool when I opened it because they were placed in the same bubble wrap as the battery), it clearly isn't sized correctly to fit the Galaxy Note 8.0.. I'm highly dissatisfied with my purchase. My advice, don't buy it.

Struggled to install in my tablet, but works well. I've been using this for a couple of years already, It breathed life into my older tablet.

The only reason it gets two stars instead of one is because the battery works and fits the unit fine. Problem is, even with 100% charge it barely lasts a couple of days. I'm worse off now than I was with the old original battery. And I'm out $15. :(180 day warranty? HOW? Amazon won't take it back after 30 days.

My original Samsung battery lasted 3 years with very heavy use. This one lasted nine months. When I first got it, it powered my tablet for something like 8 hours. Now it lasts for less than two hours. It made it through the 6 month warranty and then promptly pooped out.

This battery works fine it just takes a very long time to charge. It was easy to install with the provided tools.

Great battery, only problem is that the tools are cheap and broke when I tried using them.

The kit was quick to use and had all parts necessary for swapping the battery. This was my first time opening a tablet, and I had everything done and reassembled in about 20 minutes.
