Yes, matte black. Need to buy the gloss plastidip to make it shiny, and that one you just spray a few layers over the matte black. I would imagine a six pack would be enough for a car hood. I did about 3 layers on all 4 of my rims and still have like 3 cans left.

Can i spray inside of wood cabinits

Yes, but keep in mind that this spray does start to come off with wear and tear. If you put more than a few coats it will definitely last longer.

is it advisable to put clear paint protection film over plastidip? pros? cons? would it even work?

We've actually tested this in the past. It doesn't really offer much by way of protection, and it causes the dip to become a bit brittle. If you have it on really thick it may not be a problem, but you run the risk of making it more difficult to remove at a later date.

Will this work on particle board speaker boxes?

Hey Thomas. I personally have not tried plasti dip on wood/particle board. Im sure you can. Although it will be hard to peel off later. Good luck

Yes, I want black rims. No, I don't want to pay $1000+

This stuff is great, once I got the hang of it... I've never spray painted before, so I put quite a few (very) light coats on before I found out that I can coat it more. I had to do this outside and the temperature dropped, so one of my rims looked awful since it dried all weird. I ended up peeling that off the next day and redoing it! Along with adding finishing touches to the others! In the end, I used up all 6 cans for my 5 rims, but hey my jeep looks great! It's held up pretty well for the last few months. I look like I powder coated my rims for about $45... I'm satisfied with this solution!

Great item

I sprayed on my Acura and my friend SI. It give brand new look to the car, not to mention is so much easier to wash the car now, no more waxing...... Just re-spray every year. FYI - each can of Plasti dip is equal to 1 panel but if you plan on spraying your car buy the gallon and spray gun Wish Amazon can carry more color
